That is way too much for a car that is no longer a factory 1LE. Ive got a 1LE that was a 350cid auto 1 of 178 and the second you alter the car you lose the value of it being a 1LE. I did the same thing but I still have all the parts to put her back to stock. Still is a wicked car though.

Two reasons. First where I live the cops are pretty **** and will pull you over if you are missing a plate up front if you drive a muscle car. We have some serious crack downs on street races since a cop was killed by a honda running a red light at 160kmh+ during a race and T-boned the cop. They will pull you if you give them anything. Secondly when I first got the car the previous owner had scuffed the front ground effect so it hid the marks. Its now been repainted.

Hey I live around there. Cops haven't bugged me about no front plate yet. But all they ever see are my taillights

Uhm, no offense, but doing what he did to a 1LE is dumb, that car most likely would have been worth more if they didnt do that, i mean they replaced everything, why would you do that to such a rare car?

Thats like putting a 383 in a TTA

That's true about the plate thing, I got off lucky had my front plate off on my RS, RCMP told me 15 days to put back on warning only.

But ya cops are real edgey (sp?) with that death from street racing, nice car to.

That car looks good. If I had the money I would have bought it and sold it to a homeless person for steeler tickets!

I read that that car was made by Ligenfleter himself for the CEO of Chevrolet when it was brand new, not by Berger

Isn't that Berger's car? I think that is what it says in the add. Then it was modified by Ligenfelter i think. I don't know, either way, too much IMO. Could do it for less probally. Still looks nice though.
