I guess you missed the exact same thread that was started after my what do you not like about your thirdgen thread.
I'll answer again anyways,
Good looks, and affordability. I have a V6 so I can't vouch for the speed.

I hated that thread too! People were listing stupid **** that's not the car's 'fault'. Oh well.
I love the looks of it, the sound, it's fun to drive, and I like the looks I get because a clean good looking thirdgens are few and far between. Most of the ones I see around here a driven by old ladies who don't care about them, or they're driven as beaters.

I like the way my car corners, of course I have added spohn subframe conectors, edelbrock torque Arm. edelbrock panhard bar, spohn lower control arms, and a Hotchkis strut tower brace. It just rides much better than my 79 Z28.
I like the looks.
I love the whole inside layout of my car. I can't fit in most small cars 6'1" about 200. not tall or big buy any means, but I hate getting in just about any small to mid size car because my knees keep hitting the dash. I love the T-tops, just riding with them off is awsome, almost as good as riding the bike (almost)
I love the way the car sounds and the pick up it has. also I know the car will look awsome when I am done with it. there is just a huge aftermarket for the car.
and of course the price. If I could have two toys it wouldbe a harley and a new SS, but can't have both and the IROC still fits the bill nicely.

BTW I stoped reading that other thread a long time ago.....

I agree. I like the looks, the price, the afterkarket. The performance. They handle well. Mines a little cleaning up to do before it gets me the tang. But I like it anyway.

The wiper blade system is pretty cool. They look hidden from inside the car and the wet blade washer fluid conserves your fluid instead of being wasted in the ground.
