B4C for third gens for 1991 and 1992 is the RPO for the special service (police package RS Camaros) (sleeper Z28's) from late 1991 and all 1992 models they came with the 1LE 12" dual piston front brakes and all of the standard Z28 stuff including A/C. Production was 592 in 1991 and 589 in 1992 which makes them vary rare. It is really weird to see an RS outfitted like this and I get many inquireries as to why and also a lot of people wanting to buy it. It is a keeper for me, but the license plate is something I really like. People who truly know third gens, know what the plate stands for and it was just my way of getting the word out.
Thanks for the replies!

I have to second that on third jenn, that is really cool, the ladies here in Hawaii are to much into R I C E R S and don't appreciate a great vehicle when they see one.

Nice but if I had a B4C I wouldn't put it on my plates and blow my cover. I'd rather have competition think its just a normal RS, then smoke them

hey, that red & gold isn't a factory color combo on trans ams, is it? (i'm guessing no looking at the license plate area being all red). i recently did that on mine when i went back to 85-90 GFX on my 92 conv (red w/tan top & tan int does not go well with silver, and i couldn't match the faded red)

That's a safety check sticker, which is required here in hawaii. Something that no one in the freaking state wants to give my car. Oh well, I'll just continue driving illegally....

Benny, where did you get that sticker plate thing? When I finally do get (steal) a safety check, I don't want it on my bumper.

1986redbird, that's just badass.

I got that plate at the Carquest in Salt Lake ($12), try Pro-tint in Aiea or Nobles Transmissions in Pearl City for the Safety. What is wrong with your car that you can't get a sticker? I had to do the RECON thing on my S-10 for lowering among other things, what a PITA. Benny

Looks great, I doubt too many people on the street will even know what B4C means, so I doubt you're cover will be blown.

Thanks for the info, Benny.

Everytime I get my car "safe" something else goes wrong. It's finally in a good enough condition to pass a check but now my passenger side selt belt is fully unwound and I can't get it back in. Not that any of the damn things work but now it just looks too obvious. (Also, there is a tiny chip in the taillight lense which a lotta places are giving me a hard time about. That, and the fact that I refuse to mount my front plate on my bumper. Ain't gonna happen. Only two places mentioned that one though.) I also hope that I don't have to get a recon sticker too... do I need one if I don't have a stock motor and tranny? It's just external things right?

Mostly, they shouldn't look at anything internal as long as it isn't obvious, the front license plate might have to go on, but you can take it off when complete. Almost all places will check for the plate.
