LOL check out this third gen! it aint no low rider!
That's just plain stupid, I would rather see the car picture below then for somebody to turn their thirdgen into a damn off road vehicle....
So since this will probally turn into a flame war, People would you rather see a Lowrider Camaro OR a Jacked Up 4x4 Camaro??

Both vehicles are an excersise in bad taste. Both should be crushed and never have eyes laid on them on again.

ok two questions... without refference to a picture or a description can someone tell me what 4x4 means or is. and two.... I personally like raised vechicles.. not to that extent though. i mean like the old cars that are raised racing style with the rear slightly higher then the front. ie chargers, old GTO's and such.

Like we need anymore crushed Camaros!!!
g0d i dont no about you guys but all take the jacket up one for free and drive that for a winter car!! i could crush r.i.c.e
and the lowered one can scrip up the misse
i don't care for that firebird lifted but i've seen some nice ones in the past.
the owner of sunsation speed boats has a cherry iroc that's lifted. i wish i could get a picture of it. it's nice.
as far as that lowrider.....what's wrong with it? the paint is nothing bad. just throw some decent wheels on it and it's fine. that's one of the more tasteful lowrider wanna-be's that i've seen.

In my opinion, the lifted one looks pretty damn stupid and the low rider, Well,,, Living in San Diego, I just see WAY to many F bodys that look pretty similar, with what look like 13 in small dorky wheels and 1/4 in. metallic flakes in the paint !
i think the lifted firebird looks stupid, but the lowered camaro doesn't look too bad. some lifted cars actually don't look too bad, but i wouldn't personally do it. i just saw a mid 80's el camino raised last week and it looked kinda cool.
lowered looks pretty good, i mean not going all out with the entire car, but lowering looks pretty good... now for the 4x4 thing...... just no... please dont... all day i get ragged for my car being a ******* car.... lets not make that worse...
AH!! that lifted one is junk. somoebody on a low-budget built that. what are those 31x10.50's on there? If there's a 4x4 camaro or firebird that I like it'll at least have 38.5's. :lala: :lala:
i can't see any taste in that particular car.
by the way, i like lowered camaro's on stock 16's or tasteful wheels. see ex: mr iroc-z's

Barf. I hate when people jack up f-bodies like that.
I actually didn't think the lowrider one was terribly bad. I've seen much worse.

if we crushed the ****ty ones, our cars might be worth something
and the lowered one woudln't be bad if it just had different wheels. but if i had to pick, i'd go with the lowered one.doc

I'd drive either one, but wouldnt customize any car to look like either one. Its all about personal taste. Sure you can have an opinion about something, but it dosent mean anyone is going to listen to you. Why does it matter what I'm doing?
Heres a car for you.
Eh, doesn't look too bad, but I'd certainly never do that to my car. As for the low camaro, lowering isn't really my style, so I'd have to put a thumbs down.
And to answer an eariler question, 4x4 means four wheel drive, as opposed to the rear wheel drive we all have.
And really, "Only in Texas" ? C'mon, we're not THAT bad :nono:

Oh, and about that car posted by StngKlr, I'm currently visiting my parents in Hawaii, and just the other day I saw a truck here on Oahu with the license plate angled in the tail gate like the one you posted. He had is exhaust coming from the now empty license plate area. It was kinda nifty, in that "Huh, never seen that one before" way.

I absolutely hate it when people take a car and turn it into a truck. The only car that I have ever liked lifted was the old VW beetle because it looked more natural.

Every rule has it's exceptions, and the El Camino is one of them. The El Camino was not jacked up with huge swamper tires on it. I always thought of the El Camino as a lowriding street pickup truck.

Id much rather have a 3rd gen lowered than jacked up like that.
