To be on the serious side, those aluminum drums look great. I love to have some because I hate the look of cast iron drums, and I don't particularly want to do a rear disc swap at this point.

Yeah, thats what I was thinking. Only thing is how do the aluminum drums hold up compared to the stock ones. What about having them turned if need be?

I am guessing that since the aluminum drums are lighter that they would have a slightly better stopping advantage since there would be less mass to stop. As turning them, I am not sure. Those aluminum drums are pretty rare.

That price for 87.50 seems a little high, but there're in good shape and turned. In the junkyards around here there seem to be plenty of those aluminum drums.
