and for 16000!? Hell you could pull a down payment on a brand new TA for that! But hey, the more people that do this to our cars, the faster mine starts becoming rarer

considering a real 1987 ferrari TESTAROSSA (note spelled the correct way unlike the ebay sale one) is only 35,000 with 12,000 miles on it (I just saw one for sale) I would buy that instead

Thats one kit car that they didn't do right. The thridgen dimensions are too far off from the Testarossa's. Hoods too long and the rear doesn't look quite right.
They'd be better off using a Fiero for the base.

i dunno guys i think that looks really nice. i wouldnt want that as a daily driver and id still have to own my thirdgen, but its not bad looking. they said it was a factory replica, you think thats true?
That is the product of a sick mind trying to do an upgrade of an Datsun Z car based kit. I don't think you would see another one !! I showed it to my 87 and she shuddered twice and promised to run right forever if I would promise not to even think about that hideous abortion.

I don't get it why some people try to make third gens something that they're not.....82-92 Camaros and Firebirds and beautiful cars......who would want to ruin the look of'em??? It's different when you add maybe an aftermarket hood or something....but when you change the whole body to make it look like a completely different car.....that's pretty low.......but it's not my car.....so....whetever floats there boat

I dont like it all that much, but that work that was done to that car looks extremely high quality, and I have to give props for that.

Well, I applaud the effort put forth, but all that work could have been used for something better. Putting Ferrari bodies on lesser cars is so 1987.
The hood's too long, the rear overhang is too long, and the whole body section is too tall.
*You cant advertise anything but a real Ferrari as a Ferrari, even a 'Ferrari replica,' or you get a nasty phone call from some Italian lawers. So kit-car guys have to get creative on their spelling.
Having said that, I wonder what that nose and hood would look like on a Formula w/out all that widebody stuff. Look close, those are stock Firebird fenders and headlights. Time to bust out the photoshop.

I don't like it... the rear looks like it would bust right off if you hit a bump.

The VIN shows it to be a 91 Camaro with an L03. I guess that explains why the seller is talking about the LOOK of a Ferrari but doesn't mention much about the FEEL.

If I was going for a Kit Car to do it would be the K-1 Evolution or Evolution II with the gull wing doors............K-1 style is pretty good in my opinion......and would be alot cheaper to do than that car..........:lala: :lala: :lala: :lala:
Let us pray..Dear *** Plz make anybody that does this to another thirdgen burn in hell forever. Plz protect over all thirdgens and the people who love them more than life its self . ahmen!

I don't like turning cars into something they are not unless it is a replica of like a Shelby Cobra, or a Ford GT40. I would rather shell out an extra 50 grand to have the real thing. That would be embarrassing to drive because you know its a fake and everyone else would probably notice too.
i would take that car, my girl rate would go even higher! go to club and every one thinks u got a Ferrari. LOL! Also the insurance on it would be why why why less then a real ferrari. not to mention that if that was a real ferrari part would be a arm and a leg, with that just reach the scrap yard. if all u want is the look of a ferrari, dont care to much for the speed then its a good deal.

Hehe, did anyone else notice what looks to be the factory Delco stereo in there? And the cheap *** grant steering wheel? And, I can't really tell from the pic (can anyone say LEARN TO FOCUS), but that looks like an 8-ball gearshift ****. If you're trying to pass the car off as a Ferrari, that ain't gonna cut it! There are many other obvious flaws, but those are a few of the biggies.
