If you have a power pull down hatch you can do it from the pull down mechanism. I know all about it as I just did it the other day. You can set your height, and side to side alignment with that setup. Just take off that back plastic get out your socket set. There are three large bolts that hold the thing together. Up will raise the back glass and you can get the idea from there.

Loosen the 3 bolts for the manual release. The release can be moved up and down some for adjustment. I did that to my SC for a tighter seal all the way around.

I have a question about the instructions in that link up above... That seems like a good idea for camaros and regular spoilers on the birds, but what about the aerowing?? If you move the deck lid around, wont that throw off the wing? It wont look nice and semetrical will it? My whole hatch is too far towards the rear of the car. There is no more movent in my hinges that I can see. Side to side is good, and height is good. But it sticks out... Let me know what you all think.

It shouldnt mess with the symetry of the spoiler. Once you get the deck lid back to where it came from factory everything should look normal and correct. How far does your hatch stick out? No more than 3/8 of an inch?

Honestly, im not sure how far. Ide say 3/8 is a good guess. A conservative one tho. It might be a bit more. The contacts for the third brake light dont match up good either. I still say that the entire glass needs to go back, but I just cant seem to get anymore play in the hinges. I might think about dismantling the hatch all together, and cleaning up the hinges, maybe elongating the holes alittle more. Then still mess with the deck lid. Ide like to get it as close as possible without changing the deck lid. Im getting water in my rear hatch (big surprise). I dont want to get a new hatch seal, which i need, without having the hatch in the right place. I dont want it to mash the seal, then when i get the hatch aligned, it wont seal good. Let me know how you think I should go about this. Thanks.

Theres only one way to fix the decklid. You'll have to do what the tech article says https://www.thirdgen.org/newdesign/t...tchalign.shtml to get the decklid part back to where it belongs. The glass isnt your problem nor are the hinges. Over time of shuting the hatch the deck lid will slide back and go outta alignment. Thus you need open your hatch all the way remove the gas shocks, unbolt your decklid, replace your decklid to glass seal and put tons of silicone around it. Move the decklid back to where it lines up properly and bolt it back toghether.
