I have a set of them on my car.
I like them alot.
I have to move my car out of the garage this week. I'll take better pics and wash the car. (Been sitting for 3 months)

the good thing about spindles is a 2" drop is just that. Measure you wheel well clearance and -2" and thats what you will have when your done.

Here is mine with the 2" spindles and 1.75 coils out of the rear WS6 springs. I was going to lower the rear more, but have decided not to. This look really grew on me. By the way, make sure your front springs and struts are good, or else you'll have tire rub problems.

I have been trying to find drop spindles for the longest time, especially since summit discontined them for thirdgens. I think Baer offers drop spindles with their brake kits, but I don't want to spend a grand just for the look although the brakes would be a great improvement.

Drop spindles is in my opinion the best way to lower a car because there isn't much to correct, you just need lowering springs in the rear and good condition front springs like GTA-SPD said.

I want to lower my car so badly, but I can't find the drop spindles for thirdgens.

As far as I know, they don't make them for thirdgens anymore. I have been looking forever for a set. Now I wish I got them while they were still in stock. Its like they make the spindles for every other F-body except ours, whats the deal? My only alternative is to buy a brake kit to get them, but I don't have that kind of cash right now.

I scored mine on e-Bay for $250 or something like that, they were brand new, but the guy totaled his car before he got them installed and the had sat in his garage for a couple years. He sent me an e-mail a couple weeks after I got them and asked if I might be interested in selling them back to him because he go anothe 3rd Gen. Ain't that a bitch, he sat on them for 2 years, decides to sell them, and then falls ***-backwards into a 3rd Gen. The same thing happened to me with my 12" Baer system, I sold it (and most of my performance parts including my T56) thinking I was going to get into a C4, ended up stealing my 87 GTA from a friend of a friend to sell it for profit. By the time I got it home I decided that I loved it and would keep it. Now if I'd only held out another 8 months on selling my stash of parts, I'd have the ultimate (in my opinion) GTA. Live and learn I guess...

I can't believe that the guy would have drop spindles for 2 years and not installed them. I got the oppertunity to get drop spindles, they would be on my car the next day, even though I can't really afford them right now, but I would still do it because those spindles are worth it.

He said that he crashed his car while they were en-route, and kept them around in his garage for two years. He said that he didn't ever expect to get another 3rd Gen, and got tired of moving them from here to there in the garage. I had 'em in my car 2 days after they arrived, and the car aligned the next day.
