17x11 rears on stock vs. 4th rear???

Okay, I'm looking for some answers...

I'd like to put 17x11 Grand Sport wheels on the rear 'o my bird (17x9.5s up front). I know it can be done w/ spacers on the stock rear. I saw on a previous post that Zephyr (???) had issues with the wheels sticking out too far w/ the spacers. Does anyone know if the wheels will fit "normally" i.e. not stick out very far if a 4thgen rear is used?

Any info would be appreciated.

MILT

Grand Sport / SS / ZR1 are all pretty much the same wheel expect for the color/size

GS = black 11x17 rear
ZR1 = chrome/silver 11x17 rear
SS = chrome/silver 17x9.5 rear

He probabally has silver ZR1 wheels (same as GS wheels just silver, not black). But I could be wrong. I have chrome SS wheels (11x9.5) but I call the ZR1 wheels because people know what I'm talking about when I say that, there are too many "SS" wheels around and confuse everybody.

i am also looking fairly strong at buying some zr1 wheels or some gs if i can find them i want black either way if i have to powdercoat or paint, so the 11 inch does fit on the back? and with alot of rub or is it a really tight fit? any clearance problems? what about power? such a big hunk of tire in the back it seems you would never be able to spin those things......i dont want that...

What bs do they Grand Sport wheels have?

I have 7" bs on my 11"s & they sit in almost a full inch, from the fender lips, on my stock 9-bolt axle.
