Blinker Cleaning
Blinker Cleaning
On the blinker lights below the headlights I was wanting to clean them to a nice clear view, but I now see that the glass is adhered to the housing by some material. How have you guys gotten it removed without damaging the glass or the housing?

I cut the whole front half of my parking light assembly off with a sawz-all and put a peice of lexan over the front...Looks pretty damn good!

Yup, "dern" is almost as good as "put the hole light in the washer"
heh heh "HOLE" (whole)
heh heh "HOLE" (whole)
Don't clean them. Just black them out! It looks better anyway. I made some blackouts by cutting and dying some clear lexan and then attaching them with 3M trim tapev (looks just like GTX blackouts, which are not available for turn signals). But, some others have used a spray-on blackout called "Nightshade" that's available from Summit Racing.
