82-84Z with Newer GFX?

my car is an 84 and has the smaller style ground effects on it. I like the looks of my nose but I also like the looks of the IROC style rocker and rear ground effects. I would like to know how you guys think it would look if I got Ground effects from like an 87 or so IROC and put them on my 84 and let my nose stock. If anyone has pics like this it would be great. I was also wondering if they would all bolt right up or not. Also would it look better two tone like the older ones ore one solid color like the newer styles?

I think it would look a little out of wack, having the higher lower spoiler than the side ground effects. You would also need to make new holes for the rocker panel gfx's as well.

It would be a little unusual, but the 85-90 Iroc front ground effect isn't all the aggressive. the 91-92 style would be.

I like my nose just not the sides I think they are too high looking, I want low wide looks for my car

I see what you mean. I kind of hate the ground clearance of my Firebird too. I wanted an airdam, but it no matter which one I choose, it still looked out of place.

I don't know if you would be able to use the stock nose with the 85-90 ground effects.

That would look a little out of wack....when I HAD my 84 (1992 Z28 Clone).....at first....I all the ground effects besides the nose were all 92...and the nose didn't match the car one bit....so..I desided to change the whole nose....it looked 10 times better! Here is a picture of the clone job...

I am going to be upgrading the rear bumper and ground effects
to the IROC style. I know that this camaro has the rear ground
effects of an 85-90 car and I think that they line up better
with the side ground effects of the 84 than the originals. I think
that the 85-90 side ground effects would not match up with the
stock front as nicely.

hey thanks for all the replies guys I just like the look of lower wider cars and I thought the larger side skirts and rear ones would help me with that look. I wish I could make something like the fourth gen RS ones have with the low sides and the vents in the front, I guess thats what I was trying to get at with this look.

Ohh and naz your car is bad *** looking, made me decide to keep my 84 and fix it up.

84CustomZ28, How did you get the 91-92 front bumper spoiler to fit nicely with the 84 fenders? I have just put a 92 Z28 front end on my 83 Z28, and although I knew the early style fenders dont have the slits to hold the spoiler, it just doesnt seem to fit as nicely as it did on the 92 camaro.

I had to cut the slits in the fender......the 84-92 Z28 clone came out great.....I'd do it again if I could

Does anyone know what wheels are on that car? And the specs?

They look like the cobra R knock offs... I think they look pretty good!

I believe it is the same car in the "SLP race day pics" thread.

The good news is you are right.... and I now know what kind of wheels they are!

http://www.fikse.com/yourcar/street8.html

The bad news is they are around $4,000US for a set.

Why do I always have to like the expensive ones?
