I love the look of Firehawk wheels. Those thridgens look absolutely perfect by the way. The wheels look so mean that it makes me want to get a TA, hmmmmm. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

I agree. I really really want a set but it'd take me forever to save up 2 grand. And as much as I love the look, it's just way too much money to spend on tires and rims (for me anyways).

Justins86bird,

Your Formula looks very awe inspiring. It's thirdgens like yours that make me want to keep working on mine because it theoretically could look almost as good as yours.

Its amazing how I like your car so much even though it is basically stock appearing except the wheels. I could look at the exaxt same car with different rims and I would not like the stock looking body that much.

I am always surprised at the fact that wheels can make your car look better, although sometimes worse, but not in this case.

The other cars with Firehawks are great too. Too nice. I have the money to get Firehawks, but I don't feel my thirdgen is worthy to receive the rims.

92GTA,

Have you ever chassis dyno'd your 91 Firehawk?
Do you have any pictures of the front brake setup?

No but in a few months I'm going to do a complete dyno tune and then I'll have some numbers.

No pics of the brembos either, I've never removed the wheels...

You've never removed the wheels!!!
I'm sure a lot of people here would love to see pictures of the brembo brake setup. It looks like you have a good digital camera. Would you be willing to do that someday?

How many times has the oil been changed on that car?

The oil gets changed atleast every year whether it needs it or not.

Sure I'll take the wheels off, it will be a couple months though...

No problem. I plan on removing the old SLP chip and having a new custom one programmed for max HP and TQ on the dyno

It was the more expensive of the 3 sold at Barrett-Jackson in Jan of 2002 and I bought it from the person that got it from Barrett-Jakson. I'll tell you I paid just a little less than what it went for at Barrett-Jackson. I fell I paid atleast 8K less than what it's worth and I don't plan on selling it in the forseable future but I'd sell it in a heart beat to keep my GTA...

Thanks for the kind words I had planned to keep the car as stock appearing as possible. I plan to put WS6 Caps on them like cg91ta did. I still may go with gold GTA rims or some 17" BBS crosslaces if I can find them in the right, deepdish offset.
