i'm pretty much done with the car, i just have to adjust alot of things and finish a few trick pieces like my custom aluminum panneling and CF pannels.
i changed the wheels.
added 2 piece baer brakes
chromoly front end
coilover setup
4" exhaust
new engine
new trans
march aluminum brackets and pulleys
painted the engine bay and underbody
and many, many more little things to complete the job.
the only thing i have left to do is get a rear for all the power.

as far as the combo itself it's just a bunch of little thing here and there that anyone can buy. turned out very nicely......i'm a little unsure on what kind of gas mileage i'll get though. have to wait til spring when i can put some heavy miles on it.

Wow, normally I don't like those rims at all, but they look GREAT on your car. :hail:
Sweet looking car.
It's all about the combinations. What colors the car is, what things you have, such as a cowl hood, or whatever, the appearance of the car itself, will determin if the wheels will work. As I've seen....

like i said.....still in progress, with the 4" exhaust i had to have an actual lift in the suspension to move it around the way i had too. they wouldn't allow me to drop the car right there on the show floor so it is raised about 2" more than it should and roughly a 1/2" more than stock.
i went with a standard sbc bracket and pulley setup in the polished billet aluminum. looks great, however i had to move my alternator to the passenger side to make it all work. while i definately think it makes an improvment looks wise if you already have the stock serpentine setup i'd just save yourself alot of money and polish it.
as far as the wheels, they still need to come in roughly 1/4". however alot of what your seeing is the lighting in the room paired with the suspension setup. just wait til she's done before you start picking it apart.
thanks for the compliments!

yep, that's why i went with them..............the car turns so smoothly now. i wish i would have replaced them years ago.
while i believe these are purely for appearance even though others say different i like them alot.
by the way pskel, you going to have that thing together for the cruises this summer aren't you.

but i dont want to pay the $150 for a set of sloppy stock ones when i can have cool looking ones for $350.I hope my car is done by late april of early may....but the paint shop called me today and half of the crew is out sick, so i have to wait a another week
Then i just have to build the engine and put everything together then
sounds great, hopefully i'll get to see it in person one day!
as the warmer weather sets up let me know if you need any parts to complete the job. i'll have access to alot of cheap things that you may want.

What did ya do with your other rims???? Your car looks so sweet man. One of these days I want to put that much work into mine. Just curious, what is your tab runnin up to with all these mods and stuff.
thanks guys i appreciate the kind words. :hail:
i sold my wheels to a guy in new york. i really liked them but couldn't fit the front brakes and i needed an updated look anyway. i'll always love those rims, but i wish they had made them in at least 17.
as far as the tab.....still along way from the price of a new SS. my goal was to build myself a thirdgen exactly how i wanted it that was faster than a new 4thgen and cost less.
almost finished so i think i might make it.

As I expected Jeff, the finished project looks great. Superfest will be that much better this year as I can't wait to see it.
thanks guys.....yeah i'm really looking forward to superfest too!
yeah it's 10.5 as for fitment i can't comment right now. it isn't the way i want it to be.
i'm using the recommended 2" adapter for my 58mm offset....but it sticks out a little more than i like. no rubbing, but doesn't sit right. i will get it though, then i'll let you know.
