Shifter boot...

If you have the auto it's 10125297
I you have the 5-spd it's 10125256

Which trim pieces are you looking for? If it's for the door stuff then the pic is below. If you need more let me know exactly what you need.

Do you have power seats? Or manual?

Gain switch is 10035312.

Diagram
List pg 1
List pg 2

Maverick H1L ,

The part numbers you need start at section 3.300

Diagram
List pg 1
List pg 2
List pg 3

This was the hardest look-up yet...phew.

Mine are the number 9 panel w/o #33 pockets. You did a great job scanning the diagram and list. Can you do the same for the drivers side? I need the numbers for the drivers side side mirror thingie. It'll be on the drv side diagram. I wonder what those door panels are called. Cause I don't see too many of them. Also the arm rest are different than the standard door panels. I didn't see a mention of that in the scanned pages?
Do you have power seats? Or manual?
I have manual...

THANKS! :hail: :hail: :hail:

It only shows one side...in this case being the passenger. All of the part #'s you need for either side should be listed.

What 'mirror thingy' are you talking about that's not in that pic? Also, could you possibly have the 91-92 arm rests?

The covers for the seat tracks are 20206219 for driver side and 20206218 for passenger side.

Thx a bunch. I needed the # 55 in that diagram, the fuel block. I just hope it doesn't cost me a limb or two, I need them!

Edit: I just looked it up, and it's going to cost me an arm ($51.50) to stop my fuel leak at that return fitting! AARGH!

I also thing he's looking for the remote mirror control stick assembly or trim. Mine works, but it doesn't becuase the hardware I got for the stick doesn't match that which came original from GM, but as long as it stays in one place I could care less. There's a clip that holds the stick assembly to the door panel bracket which I need the part number for and the bracket P/N would help too.

I'm talking about the thing that controls the side mirror, manual one that moves drivers side mirror.

The door panels are stock. The arm rest matches the DP. They are just some special option or something. The panel is in the diagram. But I guess the armrest might be on the list...

In case you need to know, I have the door panel that is #9 in that diagram with the #8 trim.
Oh, and bust, I don't think that our arm rests were in that diagram, but I know Classic Industries has them listed as the 88-90 arm rest pads on page 64 of the 2003 catalog.

I think I found what you are looking for....they are called a escutcheon and the #'s are 20545322 & 20545321. I'm not sure which side is which cuz it doesn't tell me.....Keep in mind that this isn't the bezel that goes around it.

bust, if you are actually talking about the actual controls for the remote mirror, you either have to buy a new remote mirror or go to a junkyard and get an assembly for the controls or the entire mirror itself. If you buy just the controls, the are a PITA to install because there are three individual cables that each have their own channel in the base for the stick, and that base has a very stiff spring in it, almost as stiff as the ones I've seen used on B&S engine valves. The controls are not fun to play with, they hurt like heck!

That is the name of my door panels? Where did you get that info??

Trust me, I know about compressed springs and things. I had the spring for the door tension punch me in the face before. It actually blacked my eye . But I just need the housing and clip that holds the mirror control it in. My door panels have a different setup than other f-bodies. The "housing" is plastic and prone to break when it's cold and you need to adjust the side mirror. The panels are somewhat rare so there is no good used stock to pull from.

I do have an inside bead to a couple of dealerships. So I might get lucky and find some stuff they ordered and never installed.

No, that's not the name of your ddor panels...that's the name of the lever that controls your side mirror and those #'s above are the #'s I think that you need.

Yuo have me confused....the washer pump and the wiper motor are different pieces mounted in different locations. Which pieces do you need? Do you have any pics?

Not exactly. I have the same wiper motor, the later thirdgen style with the washer pump mounted inside the housing for the wiper motor. I just don't have that part number to give if there actually is one...

Hey. I wish I had a pic. My camera isnt working. The black plastic cover I'm referring to is the outer most part in the area of the wiper motor. The cover houses the washer pump. The pump sits vertically in the cover and is held in by a small metal clip. I believe the cover actually protects the intermittent wiper circuit board. Today, after contacting the dealership, I learned that that cover actually comes with a new intermittent circuit board. It ranges from $70 - $90. SO...unless you can find me a separate part number for the cover...Im stuck going to the junk yard. No biggie...I have a whole list of stuff I need. Just thought Ide look at all my options. Thanks for helping!

This is going to be tough to describe, but I need the fifth piece of the Firebird air dam. I have P/N's 10118485, 10118488, and 10118489 and the other lower one (I don't know the P/N offhand), but I need the P/N for the one in the center that is shaped something like a Z and goes from the top front of the rad support to the bottom center of the front bumper cover.

Ooh, that's just great. Those numbers would help, except I don't have an RPO sticker. I'm looking to get that, the tire loading sticker, and the manual ASAP, but can you define those RPO codes for me?

Not a prob...

WS4 - Trans Am
W66 - Formula

Hopefully you can distinguish the difference.

I hope I get this right... TransAm has GFX, right? I don't have that, meaning I have the W66 option.

I just checked both numbers on GMPartsDirect, and neither are in their database. I'll have to get the numbers crossmatched at the dealer.

Let me double check one more thing....your car is 87 right? I'm not getting this cuz it only lists those baffles for formulas and trans ams. If your car is a stock v6, then its not a formula or a ta. By this I assume that your car doesnt have it or need it. You may have to call the dealer on this one. If you want one, then I'd go with the formula one.

I am not quite sure as to whether I need one or not because my car appears to have had the front bumper cover replaced along with the bumper itself, and both say they are from a TransAm. I also had to replace the air dam because I did not have one when I bought the car and I had problems with engine heat. Some said I needed it, some didn't. Maybe you can help with this dilemma?

Well, that piece is supposedly what directs the most of the air into the radiator. I say get it if you are having problems with engine overheating. If not, I say dont get it.

Well, I haven't gone anywhere since I last drove it in Sept, before I got the air dam I have now. But I do know that there are some Christmas tree clips on the rad support that appear like they are in the shape of that deflector... I'll wait until the next time I drive the car in the Spring to see how the heat does and whether I really need it or not.

If he is talking about the service.gm.com site, then yes, only people with passwords can get into the site. All it has is 97+ cars as far is service info is concerned. All it has for cars older than 97 is bulletins and other info.

I have access to it if you need sumthing for newer cars, but anything concerning our cars...prolly not.

Dale, sorry about the wait, I'll try to get back to you tonight.

Fat, you also need P/N's 10118488 and 10118489 to complete the air deflector if it is missing. The 10118485 is the lowest center piece of the four.

When you say frame mounts do you mean engine mounts? If not please elaborate. Do you want the mounts for an 87 then?

The non rubber engine mount parts, that are bolted to the frame and not the engine block.

Can you find the part number for the window felts of an 87? There was also a window guide, kinda looked like a roller, that I need a PN for if you can find it.

How about the light assembly that is under the hood to illuminate the engine bay? I don't have the option on my T/A and saw it under a few Camaros.

I don't suppose you could scan a pic of the door assembly to the 87 IROC? I need this guide in order to have my window sit properly.

ugh...i hate to dump a crap load of stuff on top of whats already posted josh, but i desperately need these part numbers for my car:

in the transmission, in the shifter assembly: i need the little spring and the ball bearing that go underneath the shifter block (they work together to create the shift gates)

thanks a lot.

wow i need to pay more attention to this thread....

Savannah Dan

1. 10156321
2. When you say switch I assume you mean the button on the door - 20344293
3. Black – 10125159
Med. Beachwood – 10125161
Med. Dk Grey – 10125163
Med. Beige – 10181885

4. Well it shows me the visor and all the hardware…and even the screws that hold the bracket to the roof, but not the screw that holds the visor to the bar support. :scratchhead:

No luck on the lamp, couldn’t find it anywhere. L

Keep in mind this is a firebird book, not camaro, but here is the door drawing for the 87 bird.

List #2

The only AUJP I found was under the 1991 model year….
Production ecm # - 16125181
Service controller ecm # - 1227730
service calibrator # - 16151348
production calibrator prom code # - 1350AUJP

Trans_AM_88

I assume you mean the ball and spring for the detents…if so the spring is 14050769 and the ball (3/8”) is 7826284.

AUJP memcal

you might want to pencil this into your book:

Memcal is 16151348. It fits TPI motors with 700r4 transmissions. It is still availible from GM through gmpartsdirect.com at about 50$ shipped.
