Any magazine? I don't mean the auto trader or something like that. I know Tom Keliher's was and 5Siz was mentioned in another magazine.

my car was in reader's ride in GM High Tech. I know its not quite a feature but I still thought it was kinda cool. It was in an issue sometime around late summer, early fall 2002. Its had the Orange Ram Air TA on the cover
I just saw Paul Riccioli's 89 IROC in Chevy High Performance

Not a feature article, but two of my Camaro's were in the Chevy Showplace of Chevy High Performance Oct issue 2000 page 123.
Is there a magazine devoted to thirdgens? If there isn't, it would be nice if there was one.

I was in High Performance Pontiac last year in their coverage of the STARs show in Pensacola (armadillo incident).
Bruce's Firehawk (Hawks 3rd gen) was mentioned in a very recent mag...like last month...It was coverage on the Bristol Bash. His wife's 4th gen was written up as well...

My 97 SS was in GM High Tech Performance (not a feature), on the first page of the article about the GMHTP EFI Nats at Bristol Motor Speedway (the event was Fall 2000, before it became the Year One Bristol Bash). The pic was similar to the one I'm attaching.
Its also on the cover of the last edition of the Next Generation catalog (all the F-bodies parked on the side of a mountain...taken near Bristol)...that black "SS" fender is mine
. That cover is in a lot of their ads in GMHTP and other magazines.

Me too...esp considering my company on the track. The orange 97 SS is the only reverse 30th Anniversary car built, and its an LT4. Its owned by Matt Murphy, who runs GMMG (builder of the Intimidator SS, Berger SS, Blackbirds, etc) and used to be the GA rep for SLP. The red 3rd gen Formula is Keith Maney of Year One (you've probably seen him on The American Muscle Car...nice guy), and the silver Z06 is being driven by Year One's President, Kevin King.Originally posted by Kandied91z

Best thing about that was a comment made by one of GMHTP's guys while we were out on the track; that my SS was the only one that sounded like it belonged there!
Hehe.

yeah it's definately a nice ss you have.
you know it's amazing how much a few mods can change the sound of a car. i couldn't believe my eyes after the things i've altered. people actually jump now when i start the car which is something else within itself.

Yeah someone already posted the pics of mine from CHP. I'm hoping to get a feature article in like GMHTP or something else....I have to send them some pics, but the car is filthy right now and I'm planning some undercarriage work. (SFC's and Exhaust cut-out)

If so, there were several members from my f-body club www.mfba.org here in Chicago in that pic!
A Silver LS1 Formula, a 30th Trans Am, a Red '98 SS with the IL plate "FAST A4".
My car is also the car that represents the 87 model year in the book Standard Catalog of Camaro 1967 to 2002 . My wife's car is the 93 listed in the book and my dad's 82 Pace Car is shown for 82. I also was given credit in the Introduction for helping them with the information that IS accurate.

Probably not. I have already allocated time in Indy for the 500 and the Brickyard. I'll be working the infield at both races. I doubt I can get to Ann Arbor also. I wish I could get back to Superfest. That was a good time last year.
I think the only way my car will be in a magazine is if someone takes a photograph of a car an my car just happens to be in the background in the corner.

June of 2000 issue of Chevy High Performance magazine... My blue 91 Camaro and myself are featured...

Hes talking about a picture on the speedway (very similar to the one above, which was taken by Year One), though I remember the picture you're talking about (that was the year after mine was taken, I think).Originally posted by formul8!!

Mine was featured in a magazine in the UK.
Magazine:- Top Car.
Published:- January 1993.
Small pic attached quickly below, but better pics / the article will be available when I have the time to scan them in. The article was called "Apple Pie", and featured an 86 Corvette, 92 RS Camaro, an 87 Fiero and my 89 GTA. The article was a biopic of each cars their mods etc, and tried to illustrate to UK drivers that American cars were an excellent proposition!
