Why not?
And what I meant by selling to the general public, was that we used to only sell to car washes and detailers.
Thanks

well, in the interest of answering your question, and NOT getting into a whats better arguement . . .
i use a polymer based car care product line - no wax at all.
i enjoy the way it treats my cars paint, and the extended lifetime of an application.
I like the ability to layer it, without worrying abut the bottom layer getting yellowed on me.
I like the ability to stack layers and get a deepr shine, more protection - and not have to use a microabrasive to remove the previous layer (read that as cleaner wax, or polish)
There are more things about polyer over carnauba that I like - but wotn bother filling the page up . .
BUT - that doesnt mean there are not great carnauba based wax products out there that meet or exceed other peoples needs and expectations - obviously there are . . . .
A question for ya . . . A product sold to detailers and shops , would it not have an intended short life span - so the customer returns sooner, rather than later?
If I was runing an official detail shop myself - i wouldnt want anything lasting more than 4-5 weeks on a customers car - tops.
I detail at my place (house)- and dont use wax - and I have a couple of friends who have shops - and they dont use what I use for that very reason. Im lucky to see my detail customers twice a year - spring and fall , most I get once a year. For guys who love to wax their car , Im sure its not an issue, and I know folks like that.
Again, no need to be offended - you asked the question, so I answered it.
Cheers

This wax is very easy to apply and remove, that was what sold it to detailers. Do most waxes remove spray paint? Just wondering.

Ours does it by cleaning, disolving and removing discolorization and oxidation.
Oh, and each application lasts up to 6 months...
