Thinking of selling it.... need help.
A guy stopped by my buddies shop the other day inquiring about my car. Its not for sale, but he was very interested and left his number.
My question is, what should I expect to get out of it? Click the link in my sig and check it out. It needs a few things to be completely perfect. Heres what it needs:
Tires
Carpet
Headliner
Door panels
I have many extra parts including Vortec heads and ZZ3 cam and quite a few interior pieces that I'd throw in the deal. The car was just painted a year ago and is very nice and was professionally done, no MAACO or Earl job.
Please let me know realistically what you think would be a good starting point. I have inquired about a 91 Z28 that i'd like to get so i wouldn't be f-body-less for long.
Thanks for any help.

my best advice....
just park it in my driveway and leave the keys in the ignition. then walk away knowing that youve made someone very happy.
seriously though, dont sell it. youll regret it i promise. irocs are starting to get a bit rare

keep the iroc
i'd have to say stick with the iroc. cars get better with age... as long as you take care of them, and i know you have. just my opinion!

With a car that looks like that id keep it. when i was lookin to buy a car they were all run down and all the people with nicwe ones kept them. why sell something so beautiful. Hang on to that thing for ever man.

your call on selling it
if it's in showroom condition i'd keep it.
just to help you out on your decision let me tell you my story. I use to have a 91 RS. I decided to sell it to buy one of those mint irocs i always see in the autotrader. well turns out there was no such thing as a mint iroc and it took me another 2 years to find my 92 Z28. it's all good now though baby.

Nice car, I would keep that instead of getting a 91 Z28. I think it will also be worth more down the line. Plus you need very little to make your car perfect. I myself would add the original decals to that list to make it perfect though!

this post was about how much he should start off trying to sell it for. the guy is obviously interested, so you might be able to get more for it then expected. i suggest checking on ebay and seeing what similar cars are going for at the end of the auction and then starting a bit higher then that.
