Any Zaino users out there??

Hey guys, I just emailed the guys at Zaino because I wasnt sure what exactly I needed from them to wax my car. The guy got back to me and says I need all this stuff which will end up costing over $150 Canadian plus shipping and all the bs. Can any of you guys tell me if this stuff is worth me spending 150-200 bucks for a daily driven car???

BTW I got a brand new car and I'm trying to decide which stuff to use...

It's a little expensive, and you need to take your time putting it on to get it right BUT check out these 2 shots of my '91 with it's original paint:

I ONLY use Zaino on my cars.

The best advice I can give is a little goes a long way. I can get about 8 cars out one bottle of Z2.

Here is a pic of my car, a testament to how nice it looks:

Yes - its worth it - but i dont think you need to spend $150

i used it for two years before selling it . . . ad it didnt cost me that much to get started, i went slowly . . .

what colour is the car?
do you want to clay it first?
do you want to apply multiple layers in one day?
do you have a tire/rubber car product you already like?

answers to those questions can save you money....

i get customers into zaino for as little as $40 - and as much as $150 sure, if you take the whole kit and kaboodle.

you can start with z1, z2, z6, and z7 for 68.80 -
if i deliver (im in the GTA) you dont pay for that . . .

it can be done . . .

cheers

Used it a couple of times. Although the gloss is good, that can be produced with most any decent polish/wax. But I've never seen anything hold up nearly as long as zaino. I need to get another coat on my car, but haven't had much time lately.

The color of my car is called laser blue. Its a fairly light, bright metallic blue. The guy I talked to told me I needed the following things:

You will require z2, z5, z6, z7, z18, ZFX, and a couple applicators

All of that is easily over 150 bucks. Anyways, its not a show car I dont see why I would have to use so many products on the car. I just got a new car and want to keep a really good shine on it and I've heard many good things about Zaino.

z2 or z5 with zfx is all you "need"

z6 is helpful, z7 is helpful, not to mention it really is good car wash, z18 is recommended but again, not needed.

ok - you dont need zfx - you can use z1,
savings . . .31.95 down to 15.95
you dont need both z2 and z5 - pick one . .
z6 and z7 are very highly suggested . . .
Z18 clay - optional . . .you can skip it tight now, new car and all - and do it later on maybe fall . . . it works right through any applied zaino . .

so, light blue - ok go with the Z5, stay ahead of any swirls that way - its also very shiny . .

z1 15.95
z5 27.95
z6 16.95
z7 13.95
74.80 plus taxes and applicators . . . ure in under $100 - i work in T.O. meet customers all the time . . . no delivery fee . . .

and think about this . . . you should be able to get the following life from the bottles . . .

z1 - easy 5 yrs - likely longer, cause you only use it every 6 months or 10 coats of z5.

z5 - i averaged 2.5 coats on my bonneville form one ounce. 8 ounces in a bottle. even if you are bad, u get 2 from one ounce. thats 16 coats - thats 1.74 per coat - each coat can/will last months.

z6 gloss spray - its very concentrated - you might use two in a summer if you detail a lot -

z7 - a full year easy - well into the second likely , its very concentrated . . .

i dont know anyone who ever regretted spending the money.

I use the Meguires 3 step system and my car looks FANTASTIC, no good pics though.

I have seen Zaino's results, and they are stunning, but at the same time, it doesn't mean that others aren't great as well. I've talked to a lot of guys at shows about this topic and I've seen just about every brand out there produce amazing results. I have heard that Zaino is THE industry standard, and I don't doubt it, but I'm happy with the result I get from Meguires and my $20.

There ya go . . . . thats the key - if you are happy with what you use, then there is no need to change unless you are convinced something is better for what you want.

a great number of products produce awesome shine . . .
less of them protect as well as they shine . .
fewer last as long as long might be considered . .

to lots of people, that doesnt mater

i know guys who apply wax every weekend to their garage queen . . . . cause they like to . . . no sense using some high end, long life product and taking away the joy , is there . .

Yes, anything can give your car a great shine. The problem is when it contains carnuba wax. It starts out naturally yellow and has a tendancy to haze and discoloring on the surface during hot days. That is why you need to re-do the car every other weekend during the summer to keep the high gloss shine. This most evident on white cars.

Since Zaino does not contain carnuba or any wax, it lasts a long time. I only polish my cars three times a year.

All you need is:

-Z1 -$12
-Z2 $9
-Car wash $10
-clay bars $16
-applicators (you can wash and reuse them several times) $3/ea.

Iv used zaino before. I liked the shine, but the longevity is what was really the most impressive part. Ive since found a product which produces a better shine imo, but doesnt last as long. but thats ok in my book cus im **** and waxing the cars is ritual so we dont mind waxing 2-3 times, wheras the zaino would last.

Yup, that's a good line there too.

Also, try Formula 113, great stuff.
