fiberglass hood question
hey guys i have the gt auto ram air 2 hood and i was wondering since they tell you that you can't use the stock hood struts with it could i use the hood struts that they gave the camaros that came with glass hood??

I think you have the pin on style so no you cannot use the stock hood struts. Yopu have to put in hood pins. I have the 83 CFI fiberglass hood on my 86 IROC

btw, im assuming you mean the struts from the 82 camaro SMC (sheet molded composite) hood

I put an aftermarket hood on my car, all you have to do for the hood struts is get the ones from an 1982 firebird. The 82's came stock with a fiberglass hood. Checker, or Autozone should have em in stock.
