Good thing i didn't go with sportlines!

i finally got done with installing the front eibach prokit springs. the car dropped almost exactly an inch and it looks friggin awesome. bad part is i can no longer slide the jack under the sub frames but i'll just use a smaller jack to lift it from the body and then slide the bigger jack under. I'm glad I didn't end up going lower cuz it definitely would've created problems. My airdamn is now about 3.5" off the ground and even going slow it scraped getting out of my driveway. So for the people who drive their cars everyday I wouldn't recommend lower than an inch, so the prokit would be a good choice.

I didn't really notice any wheel hop but i'm gonna take measurements tomorrow and see how much the rear end shifted. overall this job wasn't too bad, just time consuming. Will hopefully have new pics very soon.

Should have come pics later today. I'm also gonna do one of those Car Domain pages. I bought one of those one time use cameras so I have about 27 pics to take.

Maybe someday I'll own a digital cam...

This is what my car looked like before. About the same as yours. The sportlines can lower a car as much as 2" I've read on here. I had scraping problems before if I was going too fast over speed bumps or out of my driveway. Now I'll have to be even more careful. So the sportlines would've been way too much of a drop for me who drives the car everyday.

I love the way it looks though. Not too low and not too high anymore either. It's raining here so I'll try and get the pics tomorrow.

did you reuse the old rubber isolators or did you get new ones?

What exactly is the purpose of the isolators and will taking them off completely effect anything?

bubbakutz - Yes i put them on myself. Wasn't too bad just time consuming. You gotta be careful with the fronts though cuz even after you let the arm down all the way the springs will still have some pressure on them.

25THRSS - Dunno exactly what they do but my guess would be to prevent metal to metal parts from touching each other. The back could be a hair lower IMO so I'm gonna take 'em off and see if that does anything. The fronts are perfect the way they are now.

I bet youll have major srapeing if you remove those isolators...I was told this by many people......because when a spring compresses, one end is going to want to turn.

it seems to me we cant be compareing camaros to firebirds here cause the firebirds sit a bit lower then the camaros IMO. I got a almost a 2 inch drop out of my front and I have about a 5 1/2" airdam clearance.
heres a pic of my dropzones......
