I don't like it either, but it's hard to see the badass hood he has on it...gotta find out who the guy is...

on a funnier side note, this video was shot on the side of the road while we were waiting for my friends' Stang to be towed.

An SS type hood, a bit more rounded....again, hard to explain. Going to find the guy, it's a small enough town...

I dont like it either. It almost looks too modified. I'd rather have the stock appearance than that body kit.

I'm with you guyz...... the dual center exhaust is nice, but there are aspects of it I don't like. There's just way too much there, makes it look like theres too much going on at once. Not my style... I'd rather have the IROC or Z28 ground effects on my Camaro!!

The wide body sides I think would look better if they were a touch taller and swooped down more into the body & hood, Like a vette. The door seems like the side body line is wavy. Like the car needs more body work. It gives and odd feel. Its interesting though. I would like to know who makes it. I had no idea anyone had a camaro nose like that. The nose is very interesting. I guess you don't have any publicity shots of the rear like those front 1/4 angle shots? I would like to see the side gfx better as well.

I guess I kinda like it and kinda don't, Hmmm...

That second kit posted is the Inferno kit, by Danko I think, or at least it's called "Danko Inferno" so you figure it out, it's been a while since I've looked into it. I don't think it's in production anymore. There was a place down in Florida marketing them, but their web page was no longer up last time I checked and it seems I don't have the link anymore.

Lots of people post that blue car pic from time to time, but I actually researched it a bit, I really like the new fascia they have on it. Kitcars.com did a review on it, and they basically stated to stay away from it, because the company didn't return their phone calls. Shortly after that, the web page went down, so I assume they don't make it anymore.

Thats great but i think the body kit would look better with those wheels not sticking so far out the side and some nice big pipes coming out the back and not in the center

The body kit isn't bad. I have never seen that one before. That hatch looks like the one from Baldwin Motions, which looks like a cross between the Factory notchback and the Targa hatch that was offered by GTA Auto Accessories. I like the hatch on the Camaro.

I like the taillight mod, and at least the wing matches the angles of the car. I don't like how the wheels are almost sticking out.

I've always appreciated that aggressive, mean look of thirdgen f-bodies. That's a big part of the allure of them, and to take that away takes away part of the essence of thirdgens.

The white car on top looks pretty good, IMO. It doesn't look riced too much... it kinda reminds me of the Star Wars troopers, so it at least fits the time frame. I'm not a fan of the hatch but I know a number of people are. And an SS hood, even if only a look-alike, always looks good on a Camaro.

If it doesn't have that silly front end on the blue Camaro, I'd say it looks great.

In the 80's you had your various types of third gen drivers, most stereotypical. Among them...

1. Godfather type - slick haired italian
2. Dukes of Hazard typ - wreadknex
3. Miami vice type - middle aged man in Florida

I think that falls into the 3rd category.

I kinda like that blue body kit. Ofcourse, the blue/white stripes do make it look like a Viper. That's a good thing though. It's a shame they stopped making it...and I don't have a Camaro.

I was searching the net for Danko Camaro, and I happened upon this site. I was hoping to locate some of the cars/kits that I built about 10 years ago. I think if you guys could take yourselfs back to 1991 when this kit was released, you would appreciate it more. It was supposed to be more of what I thought the new 4th gen camaros should look like instead of a "modified look" kit. It was pretty succesful since I never spent a dime to market it. I still have the company and molds, but have moved into reproduction parts manufacturing. We have a website www.dankoreproductions.com P.S. We never went out of business, and the guy on kitcar.com tried to blackball me because I backed out of a deal to market the kit on his website and instead created my own site. We always answer the phone!!! The guy is a real creep. I have lots of pics more cars and a few different designs. We sold about 20 kits worldwide thanks to a few free magazine articles in kit car illustrated, petersons kit car,and super chevy.

Wow.

How many people expected that?

So, only 20 kits made, pretty rare. Have any pictures of the kit?
