HELP rim job needed ASAP!

hey everyone, no, it's not what you think! i have an awesome deal on some Ronal firehawks (red inserts) W/O tires and i have a possibly awesome deal on some 2001 ws6 high-polished rims W/ tires, (will about $400 more than the ronals) CAN'T DECIDE CAN'T DECIDE!!!!! i'm leaning towards the ronals, cuz the guy's just been totally wonderful through the whole deal, but i've only got today to make the decision if i want the ws6's instead.......

i've got myself a red 92 v6 w/ the trans am gfx.... sorry i have no pix. i've seen a red ws6 or ws6 look-alike on the boards w/ red ronals that i definitely like, but no one w/ 2001 rims i can compare pics to. i'm horrible at photoshopping crap too, any help ASAP is GREATLY appreciated!!!!!

if you get the 2001 wheels, count on a couple hundred more dollars, cuz you need spacers.

you should be able to get a set of kuhmo ecsta supra tires (probably the most highly recommended performance per dollar tire out there) for less than the $400 extra that the 2001's will cost.

thanks man, i'll keep the khumo's in mind! i know i'll need spacers, but either way i'll need them, with the ronals or the 2001's as far as i know.

doesn't anyone out there have 2001's on their 2nd/3rd gen?

i don't think the ronal firehawk repo's need spacers, they're a direct bolt on

Ronal R-15s will not require any spacers on a 1le equipped 3rd gen. They will require a 3/8" spacer for the fronts only on non-1le cars. The 2001 WS6 wheels will require spacers all the way around.

HTH!

1le = High performance brake package, typically optional. It included 12" rotors, and some other stuff.

Chances are you don't have it, especially with a v-6. I didn't have it with my Trans Am.

You'll like the Ronals. Really. I do!

ok yeah, you're probably right i wouldn't have high performance brakes on my low performance engined car, hell, the original owner didn't even see fit to get a rear defroster. duuhhrrr..... how would i check that anyway just cuz i'm curious though?

i just thought the 2001's would be nice cuz he's throwing in a whole polishing kit and stuff, and the tires are already mounted and balanced, plus it seems not too many people have them. i'd just feel like an a$$hole doing that to the guy...... i'm sure i'd like either rim though, i'm just so torn! (sniffle sniffle)
