what are your torque settings setup on the adapter itself and then the wheel?

its the setting that you'd normally do on your lugnuts...was it 80 ft lbs? I forgot sorry man I put them on awhile back and forgot. I have a impact stick that has the right ft lbs so I normally dont think "hmmm...what do I set this torque wrench to...." I just think "wheres that blue impact stick" I keep hearing people saying adapters arent safe for racing. Thats total BS. I've been drifting on these adapters for awhile already and theres no problems. The adapters dont seem to be damaged in any way and everything is all good.

I got a spec sheet with my spacers from Skulte, they said 85 ft/lbs. I did the spacers that way and the lugs too. In a week or so you'll need to go back in and re torque them again after settling.

Oh and Kandied, I got the 2000 C5 wheels (all 4 18x9.5) on my car finally, with 2 1/4 spacers up front. Thought I could fit 2 until I saw how close it was to my strut. Thanks for your input. I just need to get a 1/4" spacer for the rear to make them equal!

I did mine the same as the whells specks in the book (cant remember what it was thought). But now I guess it will be 85 ft lbs now, if that is what skulte says.

75-85 is a safe range...I think Redraif's were 75. Standard lug nuts hold them to the hub, at least on her spacers (from Salesco).
If you have a 2 piece spacer, be sure to use plenty of antiseize on the countersunk bolts that hold them together.

The Vette Bakes spacers I run have deepshank style lugs.
I only drove with them on the car for 6 weeks and I had no problems.

I've had spacers and 4th gen 5 spokes for a few months now, with no problems at all. I torqed my lugs to 100 on both the spacers and the rims. Just to be on the safe side.
