Re: post ur custom mod pics

Made my own T56 pedals and custom floor mats.

And 82 gave up its seat for my ride. And I brought the emblem back to life with a buffer and apoxy

C5 brakes with the emblems machined off then polished.
Re: post ur custom mod pics
This is a good modification?

And why would you go and search my posts for pics of my car? Maybe to find some hideous mod I made? Sorry you didn't find one.
Get real dude, a radio shoved into the air vent looks like s h i t . Especially when parts of the dash components are missing and a two dollar tach is mounted on the cracked dash pad.

Yea, I went looked for your car, I wanted to see what a guy a guy has done fabrication wise that he thinks slamming someones work and fab skill is acceptable. For the most part all I saw was some wheels. Wow way to step way out on the edge dude. You know if he took the foundation work he did to a guy that does interior, that has the ability to look really trick. We all have to start some where. I think the idea behind that mod is a good one. It gets the radio to eye level, makes space for other functions and it is different.
We all don't start out as chip foose or with a pocket of cash. To rag on someone when they are getting started, really irks me off. So excuse me if I hurt your feelings. I have no relation or affiliation with the poster of that mod. I have just been into cars for a while, and I do my best to help others with the hobby.

I'm not ragging on the guy, when an altercation looks terrible, which it does, is it so bad that someone mentions it? No, he put pics up and everyone will critique it.

Hey DAVECS1, nice gta. had a couple questions on your front brake conversion.
1. did you use the original prop. valve?
2. what did you use for brake hoses?
I know there's several different post on this but I like several different opinions and you sound like a stand up kinda guy. thanks in advance

1. I used the 1991 GTA proportional, I believe it is the FX version. It has worked great for me. It will lock all four if you get into it hard, otherwise it modulates nicely when on the track. The stock C5 brakes can start to fade after a hand full of hard laps on the road course.
2. EBMillers hoses and lines are flat out some of the best stuff on the market in my opinion. He is a busy guy, but as with all good stuff, it is worth the wait.
Re: post ur custom mod pics
i did that to both my 89 camaro rs's. my dash and pad were both mint, so the fitment was better. ill try to get pics after.

Re: post ur custom mod pics
ive tossed around the idea of doing something similar with the radio. if you dont like someones mod dont bash them over it, just express your opinion that you dont like it in a civil way and move on.

Re: post ur custom mod pics
ok I need everyone's opinion.. really simple.. I have a 92 Z28, it's going to be Black, Grey black interior, Silver ZR1 wheels.. My blisters will be body color but i'm trying to decide on the inserts. Made these out of some mesh I had laying around. Never been crazy about the original inserts, but might stick with them after all..
Should I do the mesh in.. Red, Silver, satin Black or keep the originals..?

Looking around, it doesn't seem like it has been attempted:

For my own
I think shakers are best left to the Trans Ams, Mopars, and Boss's, especially if they are twin-nostriled, like the Mopars.

Because I think it's the most awesome picture of an 87 IROC that I could find, I use it as my inspiration and my goal for my very own 87 IROC 5.7 It's just a signature pic, I never claim it to be my car.. and nowhere did I see any USE BY PERMISSION ONLY signs anywhere on Google (where I found it..) ...
