I have not seen anyone do this under the hood:

Here is a photo of the radiator support, it is made of polished stainless:

Here is my overflow tank, I had a braket welded onto my radiator so I could mount it out of site:

Thanks! Not done yet...

Getting a tach soon and I plan to redo the A pilars to flush mount some gauge pods.

I'm swaping the interior to black/red and the grey/blk is going to the 82. I'm going to try to modify the existing center console. Mine is officially trashed. The lid has a split and it will not open. I have some junkyard ones I will try to mod and recover or dye black. Don't know exactly... Heck may fiberglass over them and paint it gloss black! I just like the cushy padded feel it has now!

The dash plastic that overlayes the gauges with be smoothed and painted gloss black. Any other remaining grey will be painted as well!

I also plan to get the German based OTP nose for the car, and add some flush mounted fender vents in the front and rear behind the tires!

As soon as the 82 is on the road we plan get a GN or TTA motor for RAIF. Once it is built we will do the swap... and I will go with a digital dash!

That OTP nose is sweet!!! Not so sure about the entire widebody thing they have as well, but the nose sure is cool. Reminds me of the Daytona Vette's of years ago...

Very cool.

There's a moderator on CamaroZ28.com that did the same thing to his '94 Z28. I think it looks sweet. Sorta like an alien

Yeah that was probably me. It's been a while since I've been out there at Gandy. I haven't done the racing scene much ever since I got married and bought a house. Those things will do that to you. Here's another picture of El Camaro.

Targa Top Mod

For all of you who have emailed me about the Targa Top Mod I am working on a step by step instuction sheet for you all to follow. I should have it done in a couple of days and will post when I am done.

Redraif, Sorry that I missed you at the show in northern Florida ended up having to work. Poor me but I have to pay for my blower motor some how. Hope that it was fun.[I]

My advice to you is to keep it simple. A nice drop, nice rims, clean interior. That is all you need to make your car stand out from the rest. But whatever you do....please don't **** it out. If you even question that a part might look ricy....it is...don't get it....some words of wisdom.

You missed pollen (sat) and rain (sun)! It was a good show, just smaller then we all had hoped. I think the call for rain scared people off! Here was the kicker...some of the prissy show trailer queen cars owner complained about the rain messing up their engine and interior. So they decided not to judge the engine bays and trucks! Can you believe it. We were furious! I have been told, my engine is one of the most impressive things about my car. The detail work I have done! Not going to judge it. Whatever! So I opened my bay and they had to see it. Judge it maybe not, but even walking by they looked and I know it made an impression!

Let me know when you get the targa coversion instructions done. We maybe doing it a bit different then you, but it would be nice to have your input in case we hit a snag...

Oh and you said you sanded down your A Pilars...how hard was it to get them smooth? I think I'm going to be adding some gauges there and wanted to flush everything in & smooth and paint the pilars...

Damn Trailer Queens!!!

Sorry to here about the show. Wanted to go but had to work. I will let you know when I post the targa info.

As for the a pilers, I grinded the front A arms on my suspension not the pilers inside the car. Sorry for the confusion. They were not that hard just time consuming. My bench grinder was glad when I was done though. Talk to you soon.

Never try to do too many things at once! I was answering the phones here at work while I was reading & posting! Never a good Idea, even when you do end up on hold!!

Here is a photo of the radiator support, it is made of polished stainless:

I made my own radiator support almost exactly like that. I just bent my own out of a flat sheet of metal, but I just painted mine black. I'll have to see if I can get a pic or something.

How much is that OTP nose?

I believe $5-$600. Not good on $ conversions. Plus shipping! Trying to get an email to them in German here in the next little bit to be sure!

in Euros its $599,50...Lynda is translating my email to German now. So hopefully I can get it off this week and get a responce on shipping
