The claybar let me down :(

So I got this nasty stuff on my other car. Its a real **** and it wont come off. I'm not sure what it is.

Anyway, its a streak kind of, and everytime the claybar went over it, it would grab hard, but no luck

The only way I can get some of it off is to dig with my nails. Any have any suggestions on what to try next?

Thanks

I talked to a local paint supply shop here in Amarillo, the guy told me that there are several grits, (I think that would be the proper term) depending on what you are trying to get off, so you may want to go and talk to a paint and body shop about it, and get their opinion.

Use paint thinner or mineral spirits. Just don't let it sit too long on the paint.

H.E.T. Medium Enamel reducer.

Used that to get rid of the spray paint that i accidently ran over. just let it sit for too long, apply, wait 10 secs then gently rub it off. make sure you wax afterwards.

stuff was liek 6 bucks for a decent size can from an auto paint supply store.

You also try lighter fluid.
