Why aftermarket gauges?

Why not just get a cluster out of an iroc? Are the factory gauges not accurate?

My tach was off, my temp guage quit and I went T56 which is electric not cable driven... reason enough for a complete custom setup for me

I upgraded from the stupid "star wars cluster" to the stock analog gauge setup. I didnt want to go aftermarket because I like the look of the stock gauges better.
