Anyone use the Meguiar's 3-Step Deep Crystal system??
I was looking at the Meguiar's Deep Crystal waxes, which has these three steps:
1. Paint Cleaner
2. Polish
3. Carnauba Wax
Has anyone ever used these 3 products before? If so how did it turn out? Will the paint cleaner be okay on my paint...it's only 2 years old with clearcoat. My car is white if it makes a difference. Thanks in advance.

I like it. I use it on my Alero, Zaino on the 'bird. The Zaino comes out with better shine, but that probably has something to do with the 'bird's better paint.
About $15 or $20 and you only have to do the first step once a year, so I like it.

You won't be dissapointed. We use the three step process at the Auto Detail Shop where I work and the customers always say something about the shine. My friend Mike uses it on his new Saturn and it makes his car look like glass.

Would you guys say it's better than the Mother's three step? I've used the Mother's three step for about a year and am pretty happy with it, but if you guys say Meguiars (sp?) is better than I'd be willing to try it.

I've used the Meguiars 3 step before and it came out awesome!
It took a little long, but overall I think it was worth it.

i live by meguirs three step, but add a couple more!!
First time to do it do a clay bar treatment, then do a scratch remover, and remember to use special towels, micro fiber they call em i believe, keeps from scratching it more, also use meguirs gold wash soap to wash!

What does the clay bar treatment do? I don't think I need the scratch remover because I have a white car and I can't even find a scratch on the car. I plan on doing all this with my Waxmaster electric waxer. Thanks for all the replies.

I spent an entire day doing a wash, claybar and Maguire's 3 step on my car. Looked awesome when I finished, but when I got home from work the next day and saw all the dust and pollen on my black beauty....

If you really want an awesome shine, use the steps #1 and #2 of the mequires system (the cleaner and polish). Then instead of using the step #3 wax, use their gold glass wax. It leaves a very very nice deep looking shine, and it seems to last a couple months (and I wash my car 2 times a week usually).

I used the gold glass wax...was VERY pleased with the shine. Signature pic is right after I waxed it, that's the ORIGINAL paint - and it's California water based, which fades BADLY over time! That alone should be convincing enough. (and I used only the wax - not steps #1/#2!)

dont think i have ever seen a car that was not scratched, even if it was just the clear coat, scratch rmeover really smmoths out all the small scratches and prepares the surface for a good clean smooth wax treatment. if it is not scratched it wont hurt it either, in my adventures on detailing!
Just got done washing with Meguiars and following it up with the 3-step system. Total time was 6 hours including washing, drying, wheels, 3 steps. This was using an electric buffer too. The only thing was I couldn't remove the polish (Step 2) with the buffer. It must bond really well or something. So I just did that step with a soft towel. The wax (Step 3) didn't come off 100% of the way with the electric buffer either, so I finished that up by hand. This was all done while the car was cool in the shade by the way. I am VERY impressed with the overall look of my car now. My car is white, and it shines awesome (especially at night), and it is INCREDIBLY smooth now. I highly recommend this system.
