I am not too hot about the paint on the blue one, but it looks good on the other too though.

So is that kit any lighter, or more aerodynamic, or anything than the stock 'Maro peices? or just a looker kit?

one of the biggest reasons that no company is gonna make a kit for our cars is that their isnt enough demand. I mean really what kit out there do most camaro people like. I mean theres a few who like the predator kit. But most other camaro guys are all "ewww thats crap" or "why ruin the look of a camaro" **** like that. The majority of all camaro/firebird guys out there just like the look of a stock camaro. Maybe a drop or rims. But other then that they dont like body kits. So no company would be willing to make something like that due to the amount of money they'd lose.

I'm currently working on a new body kit for my car. I'm not sure when I'll be done. Dont got much time to work on it. But heres a current pic of how it looks. Its still very early in its production. I got alot more sanding and prep work to do to it.

Its pretty clean looking just and extention of hte stock kit with a little bit of a flare. As you can see my car is only about 1" off the ground all around. If I wanted I could adjust the front/rear weight jacks and make it sit on the ground. Heh heh

I don't really like it al all the much. I think the coolest thing on it are the little fins on the door and quarter.

Dude, i totally respect that youre making one by hand yourself, but Christ man... If you fart while moving in that thing, the nose is gonna dive and youre gonna rip that extension off, LOL. Its realllllllllly low. I like it, its clean, its simple, and its smooth. But its reallllllly low. I have trouble not banging my airdam off sh<x>it as it is.

FWIW, i HAVE a predator kit, and i still like Stock better, hehehe.

I don't know what you mean by "functional" but if you are wanting something like what imports put on STOP!!!! :nono: They probably don't help your performance in any aspect, not to mention IMHO they are not that great lookin.

This is just how I personally feel, but there is not much more GFX wise that I have seen that looks good on thirdgen camaros besides stock. Iroc2nv modified a honda accord body kit and put it on his iroc. I respect the work he did on it but in my opinion it did not look to good. It just does not flow with the car. Revlimits doesn't look too bad to be honest, I kinda like it, but it doesn't look very streetable

theres a reason for that.... and as far as import body kits being functional. ive got several import buddies and not ONE of them knows of a fuctional body kit. maybe functional at scooping up animals and small children but nothing as a performance aid. wait i take that back, it helps your brakes cuz it adds enough drag to slow the car down itself....

Atcually I was the one that modified the honda accord body kit onto my car O_o but anyways. Yea 99% of all the body kits out there are non functional other then for looks alone. There are only a selected few that are atcually for performance. Companies such as Cwest, buddy club, veilside, blitz, etc. Other then that...its all for looks. As for being streetable...imma atcually be raising the car a inch or so to give it more suspension travel and also to raise it off hte ground a bit. Heh heh..I didnt atcualy fully intend for it to be so slammed. Luckly though this car is mostly a track car and only comes out onto the street everynow and then.

heres an updated picture of the body kit I was making. I didnt have enough time to finish the kit though. I was rushing to finish it before this huge drift event. Sadly I already broek the lip....the side skirts are still good though. Oh well time to remake the front.

Define functional? My old 82(in the pic above) it much, much, much more stable at higher speeds than it was without the ground effects. It was an SC with no effects at all though. If you want functional, concentrate on the front--that is where the air is being pushed, and probably the only part of the effects that is functional. A belly pan would be nice too.

I hit a guard rail drifting at about 70mph at the qualifying for this event O_o I think that kinda explains it

A little too low, considering I like to stick to something i can drive every day, but damn that looks mean.

Hey REV, that looks sick. id copy it but my car is pretty much gonna be a street car that is realy too tight to be drivin. hehe but i am gonna build a custom one, mainly a skid-plate-belly-pan-thing, a difuser, and maybe a sliglty modified front spoiler... and a carbon fiber wing.. and a carbon-fiber hood.. i need a lift though to get under the car to draw up the belly pan

yeah...especially since I got for $200 less than that about 4 years ago...I guess that is what happens when demand for it goes up. Another company used to sell the kit as well...they may have stopped selling it and that could be another reason that the price has gone up.
