I like our tailights the way they are, but I commend you on your effort, and your idea. Good work!

It looks like he put a different reverse light all the way on the inside, by the plate. Then he blacked out the old reverse light. Its very original, and something I've neevr seen before.

That pic of my car is photoshopped, but someday thats what I wanna do. They also look good all red, but I don't think its legal:

The red tails look great. Too bad they would be illegal here.

Yes it's testors paint, and it holds pretty good, no sign of it coming off yet, and it's been on almost for a year

My tails are currently work in progress. The new reverse lights came from a 92 seden deville. I cant take full responsibility for a new idea becasuse GM has been doing the same on Caddy's and Corvettes for years.

Any tips on how you guys did this?
OK I know you used testors paint masked off the parts that are not being painted. Did you guys do any sanding and did you paint it inside?

The only thing I dont like about it is how it changes the taililght Grid line pattern.

Thats Is the the same thing I thought. I plan to remove the black paint that makes up the grid, the grid will still be there but it will be lense colored.
