Finally Fixed her

Well, I fixed my fenders about 3 weeks ago, and I finally got pics. Enjoy or ignore.

And a vanity shot

Any comments or suggestions?

Is it just the pics, or is the paint on the fender slightly different than the hood and the bumper?

Could just be because its new I suppose.

The paint is definetly a couple shades lighter.

BUT if those are repaired...my hats off to you!! I've been doing body work of my own, it's a 'fun' challenge if you would put it that way...a satisfying outcome makes you feel good doesn't it?

need the trans am fendor vents! So I guess they are new fendors...not the old ones fixed up.

Good job on the fix. I like to see early birds get attention.

later,
bill

Looks like the driver side fender needs a tad bit of alignment in the Vanity shot.

Nice job though, where did you get the fenders?

Yeah the paint has a tad bit more orange in it then the rest of my car, but I am repainting anyways.

I got the vents from the original venders, I just need to put them in. It is a bit discouraging to cut up the nice new look of my car.. but it has to be done sooner or later.

-Any suggestions on how to cut out the holes and put the vents in?

Yeah, the driver side is the better side too, the passenger door barely opens. And without the front GFX piece it looks really unaligned, but if I put it back on the fender would look fine.

But I need to cut out those fender vents, so I dont want to perfectly align the fenders just to take them off again.

And I got the fenders from Hawks, used for 75 bucks. Bruce is a great businessman, I highyl reccomend him.

BTW. thanks for all the compliments. I know the bird still has issues, but it is nice to give her some attention.

It does look lighter then the rest of the car, but at least all the dents are out.
