wow, those look awful. i bought a red '87 that had a mix of charcoal and red wheels (2 of one color had been stolen and replaced). they were quickly painted gold...

if i have a pic of that, i'll post it. in the meantime, here's one from a pontiac ad or something.

also, those on ebay are ALL RED. they should never have painted over the aluminum...

the ones in the pic above look good (although i like the gold better). the ones on ebay are just plain nasty. they never should've painted the rim.

Man they really need to remove that powercoating and polish the rims. Paint the centers black and u got yourself some nice rims.

I think the red is awfull looking. I think GTA rims only look good in colors that are some variations of Black, White, Grey, or Gold.


As far as the difference between grahite and black rims, there is one.

Black rims were more common - I rarely see the graphite ones.

That outer lip was never meant to be powdercoated. Always meant to have a polished look to offset the color.
