When I used to have the 16x8s on my car I ran 245/50/16 all the way around.

245-50-16 is stock.
255-50-16 on the rear rims looks nice!

Note the front and rear rims are different!!(look inside the rims!)

Jeffbird,

If those rims are factory 16'' ones the front and rear are different, stamped inside there will be "front" or "rear"!
If it's not vissable, maybe clean some dirt away!
255 at the rear looks good!
Remember going to a larger size means that the tire will be (in this case slightly) wider, but that's for the outside AND the inside of the tire!!

And no, 245/50 in front will not rub anything!

i think 245 50 16 or even 245 45 16 looks good. 255 50 16 or 255 55 16 are to awkward lookin IMO.

If your car came stock with 16's they might rub(brand new some did depending on the brand of tire). If your car came with 15's stock, they you have a greater chance of them rubbing(different steering box). However, the amount of rubbing very rarely hurts the tire. 245/50's all the way around are the best IMO. Mine has 245/45's

245 is the width in mm
50 means that the sidewall height is 50 percent of the width 245*.5 (122.5mm)
16 is the wheel size(diameter)

Just curious,as the Michelin's are VERY expensive overhere, what did you pay for those tires?
245/50VR16 will be around $500 here!! (for one tire!!)

I run 245/50/16's on the front and 255/50/16's on the back. (I still have the factory 16in wheels. They look fatter in person, they look good and hook-up a little better.

Here's a pic:
