Pics Of ME and MINIME
Here are some pictures of "Me" and "Minime". Took some time to get minime done but overall it came out pretty well. I guess I could have went even more crazy but I had to draw the line somewhere. Fabing the rollbar was enough in itself. So, what do you think?

There is also a KITT in limited release, and a 1991 Firebird Pro-Stock/Street.
For other year Camaros, and all of the Firebird/Trans Am/GTA's, you will need to hit the swap meets, E-bay, or check out www.modelroundup.com, for the out of production kits. Be prepared to pay $20-30 for them.
If you have a good, old-time, hobby store near by, they may often buy up old kits and resell them. I got lucky and found a somewhat smashed GTA for $4. I'm converting it back to '86 T/A trim.
Which brings me to my last note:
All of the AMT plastic kits use the same chassis, so you could fit a Camaro body on the Pro-Stock Firebird chassis. The Firebirds also use a common body with add-on GFX and front/rear bumpers, just like the real ones, so you could put 91 GFX on a Notchback GTA, if you wanted.
Raise your hand if you think I'm a model car geek:

Thanks for the compliments guys.
TP|383 that looks amazing. My model is 1/25 scale so that kind of detail would probably take me a lifetime.
The model I used was an AMT 1/25 1989 Iroc. I bought it off of ebay. Do a search for "iroc camaro" and then click on models. They usually go between $25-$40. I found one that was open but complete which is the one you see here. I have two more that are factory sealed which I'm keeping since they are discontinued. AMT has a few other Camaro models but not all come with the TPI engine. Now "minime" sits in a plastic display case for safe keeping.
For the tires I got them from:
http://www.americansatco.com/
And the wheels from:
http://www.afxnscaleresin.150m.com/drag_wheels.htm
The skinny fronts were too small diameter so I cut the stock tires in half and used those. The rears were too wide so I cut and sanded those too. They are only held in by wedging them in the wheel well since they are so big. Works good enough for me.
Wow, I guess I did have too much time on my hands

Here's a pic of the model kit I used and of minime in it's "garage" above my Sunstar 1982 Camaro 1/8 scale model.
there is also a factory '70 1/2 camaro out but i dont know if it's limited edition or not, also I found the 1/8 scale camaro, if i hadnt looked up i would have missed it tho. wanted 60 bucks for it i believe, after taxes and all it would have been 60 anyways. just couldnt justify paying $60 for a model while my car sits on jackstands in the garage.
