here it is...help me decide.

i must say i was pulling for the rodder 5's and still am but i really like the hot rods and after those beautiful pictures posted i'm a little unsure. i must appologize for posting pictures up that are so recent and found in other threads but i need some feedback very soon as i must make a decision by tomorrow evening so please throw your .02 in! both of these cars are sweet and it's hard to pick one for me, can you?

let's compare and vote.....watch how it will be a 50/50 if everyone votes.

the rodder is a 8/9.5 combo and the hot rod is a 8/10 combo althought they look to fit the same.

Kandied- You have such a fine car that either of those wheels would look right at home on it.....I Love the rodder 5's, but at the same time love the hot rods........yesterday i said the hot rods, but today maybe rodder 5's......then again, Do either man.....they will both look killer....I love your car man!

I love the second car's wheels alot better than the first's. I like the "straight" spokes instead of the angled ones on the first car....

I like the rodders because the curved spokes give you the feeling of movement even when the car is sitting still. Makes the car look faster. But in the end I think you should pick which one you like the most. Both of them fit into my category of 'cool' wheels, billet, big size, deep dish lip. Either would look good.

Those are the two sets of wheels I've been eying up for almost a year now.... I actually scanned that first pic. I have no idea how it ended up here.

Either one will look awesome... I'm leaning toward the hot rods though.

CrazyHawaiian, you basically are making the same argument i'm talking about. i like them both but there is something about the rodder 5 that just makes the car looks fast....both are very nice wheels so it's a hard decision. i don't want to have to change wheels again.

it's funny how things work out though as both of these rims were something that i have been contemplating for a long time and for some reason i put the z06 instead. not that i don't like the z06 but i think either one of these would look better in the long run.

definately a tough choice which i will have to make eventually. i just like to hear your guys comments and thoughts. the plan for the new design on the car is to look as if it came off a artists drawing. just like it was said; i want the car to look as if it's moving when it's still. yet the hot rod rim is a very nice rim that gives show appeal while still being somewhat subtle....however a 18" rim can manage to be subtle!

thanks guys! anyone else have an opinion?

Both sets are beautiful, I lean towards the curved ones but would probably go with where the best deal was.

same price, same company, same series.....just different faces.

both will have the exact same lip and deep dish look but different face.

the rodder 5 pic is a bad pic for showing that detail.

main difference is the rodder 5 pic is 9" back and the hot rod is 10" back.

i'm keeping this open until monday when i have to order so please post your opinions!!

If I am reading this correctly, the rodder 5s are the ones that curve? I like the hot rod ones better. The Rodders look ok but they have that, "Im to trendy for straight rims" look. I dont really know how to explain it. It just looks like something a highschool kid with an S10 would put on his truck. The Hot Rods just look freaking tough! I love those rims.

i wouldn't go as far as to label them that bad but i can see your point.

personally i think they are both very sharp wheels and if you saw one in person many would like either one. i think the hot rod rims give the car a more cruiser personality where as the rodder 5 wheels look more aggressive, but that's just me.
