Choices Choices Choices
Well i want a new set of wheels for the Camaro but cant decide.
I really want ROH Snypers, but they dont make them anymore
My second choice would be SLP ZR1's only because i think they are more inset an look better and they wont need spacers but do yall know anyone who sells them besides Hawks.
Third Choice are ZO6's but cant decide between regular and chrome
And Last would be Torque Thrust which do look good but are overdun in my opinion.
And i want them to be 17x8 all around.
HELP ME DECIDE.

Re: Choices Choices Choices
Why just 8's all around? The rears can fit much wider. Have you looked at the 17x8 irocs? WEld XP's look nice too, and not alot of people have them, classic style but with modern sizes.

Re: Choices Choices Choices
Well here is my delima, in a nutshell so bare with me. Well i like my wheels but they are 2 skinny up front and 2 wide out back, i know yall think that is bad *** but im tired of having the back all jacked up just to fit my tire. I want 2 put diff wheels to give it more of a street look. Well if i buy any of the previously mentioned wheels it would be the SLP ZR1's. I would like to put TPI on it but for tunability its staying carb. I also want to change it back over to a manual. I would rebuild my T5, but i would keep the tire size down and run a stock clutch just to minimize the chances of breaking it. Or i could just bite it in the but and put a T56 in but i would have to buy a special flywheel due to my 2 piece rear main seal. My current wheels and tranny would go on my S10 drag truck project which has been waiting its turn for way too long. Or i could leave my car like it is and buy a dirtbike from a friend but it needs work 2 so IDK what im gonna do.
Also conlinj, i looked at the pics of your black camaro and i like the wheels, what rim size, backspacing, and tiresize is that, because i want the same look but with diff wheels.

Re: Choices Choices Choices
those wheels are centerline telstars 16x7 fronts with 205/55-16 (i think they are to small 225/55-16 would be better) and 16x8's with 255/50-15's. The offset is 4.5" I had 15x8.5" centerline autodrags on there with 5.5" backspacing and a 295/50-15 tire, i miss that look but the deal i got on those rims was too good to be true, I had been looking at them for a while.

Re: Choices Choices Choices
Yea i got a great deal on my wheels 2 thats the reason i got them but i cant stand the tire rubbing. I like the look but want less in the back and more in the front, so im thinking bout the new summit wheels that look like mine but 15x7 front, 215/55/15 and 15x8 with 255/50/15.
Also you said that the telestars had 4.5 backspacing all around? And how close were the rears were to rubbing the fenders.

The centerlines are 4.5" all around and have plenty of room no where near rubbing, what size tires/wheels are you running now? I'd go with a 215/65-15 front tire too, looks good on a 15x7 I had a 215/50-15 at one point and it looked funny. Like i said I fit a 295/50-15 rear (27x10x15) tire on the back with no rubbing and plenty of room, didn't even have to touch my adj panhard rod. The rears on these cars have lots of room.

I know this isn't a thirdgen, but just wanted to illustrate the 15x7 with a 215/65-15 front tire and 275/60-15 rears which will fit a thirdgen fine.

It's all in the wheel offset
