I'm live in Taiwan, I want to change the rim to 17", but there is no 5*120.65" rim here, so I consider to use BMW's, it is 5*120, if I can use spacer to solve to offset problem, what do you think about the PCD problem (between 120.65mm & 120mm)

I've seen a few guys here with BMW rims on their thirdgens but I don't think they really fit our cars.

I agree with freeze. Our 120.65mm bolt circle does have a very small amount of play when installing them so when you use the 120mm bolt circle rims, there is no play at all making for a very tight fit.


I believe its the older 5 and 7 series cars that had the 120mm bolt circles in almost the same offeset as our cars. I think it was 16mm offset for the BMW 17 X 8.5s, but don't quote me on it.

The cars above would be killer if they were lowered and the ****in' sidepipe thing was gone.

I don't really like the white car. Way too high, ugly chrome trim and the painted ground effects don't look good either.



The green one isn't bad though. Without the sidepipes and with a little lowering it would look very good. Note the blacked out turn signals and sidemarkers.



Also, both cars need US-Mirrors.

The sidepipes rule, other then that... yucky, I am more interested in the Terminator, that yellow second gen trailer queen.


I'd highly suggest not using BMW rims, they just look ugly on our cars, I suppose that is why they are BMW rims in the first place

but the side pipes to each his own.

There are a few BMW rims I like, Especially the Tuner rims for thier cars like AC Shnitzer and Hamman, but they can cost as much as Fiskes or HRE's. I'll See if I can find some pics

If you do a search I think that you may find an answer to this problem. I have seen some photoshops of the bmw rims on a third gen, but I can't remember if I have seen any actually on a car. If the difference is only .65mm you may be able to have them machined to get them to fit. .65 is not a lot of material to remove. I'm pretty sure that these will fit without machining them though.

That's the thing, some reqiure no modifications or require machining of the lug holes and machining of the hub to clear the front brakes. Not worth it to me unless I got the rims for free.

I would love these on the Camaro.

Thanks guy, I think BMW AC rim look awsome, is the green and white car not in the US so they use BMW rim??? The BMW rim is much cheaper in Taiwan, because we make the copy vision (about US460/set, 17 ")

What is the actully offset of firebird rim anyway
