Completly changed my plans - How's this look?
I decided I want to leave my car without gfx. I think this shade of silver is awesome. What do you guys think?

I like the no ground effects look on the birds...then again I'm a bit biased since I have an 82...pre ground effect year. I like that silver color and those rims. Nice...I think it would look good witha power bulge hood.

With that look, I'd keep that hood.
The only thing I never liked about the bulge hood, is it's not symmetrical.
A ram air 1 hood may look ok on that, but i'd just leave that hood on there.
i do like that color on birds

I was thinking of the Formula hood too, but the fact that its not symetrical kind of bothers me. I had photoshopped a ram air 1 hood on there and it did not look as great as I thought.
I still want a fiberglass hood though that has a flat look to it.
As for the rims, I only put the blasters on there to see how it would look with deep dished 17s. I am leaning towards the "Fury" or the "Tuned" rim.

Stay with the Blasters those are nice. I imagine that is a photoshoped picture because it looks like the wheel well would tear the hell out of the rear tire sitting right on top of it like that. My T/A is gunmetal grey with a black stripe on the side and black wing, looks pretty good but I have really been liking some of these silver or platinum colors. In a solid one scheme color I think platinum is the best looking out of any I have seen for the firebirds, I prefer the ground effects cleans up the package.

i think it's a very nice concept, and you should follow through.
the color is great. looks just like the paint job on my 2nd computer's monitor

Another bonus with that color is that your license plate doesnt appear as noticable. Which is always good cause they can ruin the look of a car to some extent. Id say go with that color.
I wonder what it would look like on a Camaro?

I'm not a bird fan, but that looks awesome!! Looks almost like a stainless metal color. I would go with wider wheels, at least in the rear.

With it that low, it doesnt look like even needs the GFX. Cool. So when are you planning on actually doing all the stuff you want to? Or is it like my plans, "always in the works".

Ok, here is the rear shot.
91 Formula bumper, modified stock wing to look like a low rise mecham wing, and center exhaust (surprisingly not for appearance) and I am not a huge fan of it either, lol.

Using Zepher's Formula again (great for photochopping for some reason) Here is the side pic.
I used the Boyd Fury's with a more conservative 17" size
Note the modified TA fender scoop. I want to turn it into Shark gills so it doesn't look exactly like a TA and it will stand out a bit more.

Well the first pic set me on fire. If I were to see a bird like that I don't know if I'd shoot it down to have as a trophy, or simply bow down and pray to it.
Very nice photoshop there. In the first pic due to the reflections it looks as if its a two tone paint job. Which I actually think would rock. Must be my exposure to KARR from Knight Rider.
Devianb, you live in IL??!?!! Why weren't you at denny's party?

I do care what other people think about my car to a certain extent, so I always keep that into consideration for planning, which is why I often change my mind so often. Since so many people like it that much, including myself, I now have something work off of now.
Now I'm working on future plans for the interior. You might like it as much as the exterior?
I have changed my mind before so many times its rediculous, but this time I have never been more serious. Mark my words, "this is the final design"
lol,

That first pic looks great, but youll probably have to modify the bottom part of the headlight (the exposed part next to the park lamp) to make it clear the old cove area that will instead be solid. Or maybe put a small gap directly in front of the headlight. If youve ever seen front blackouts for 82-90 'birds, youll know what Im talking about.

Way ahead of you there. All I have to do is shave off the bottom ridge of the headlight bezel. I know this because I fill that turn signal area in with clay to see how the lights operated. It almost cleared except the small ridge on the bottom.
I may end up leaving a very small gap in that area when the pockets get filled, but not so big that its noticable.

Some really nice photoshop work there devianb. Your lasso and mask work could use a bit of a touch up though. ^_^
