I was wanting to do that with mine, wasn't sure how they would turn out with centerbolt valve covers. Also I still have the stock manifold and for some reason I was thinking I would have to run a wire or two directly over or through the manifold. I do not remember having as much clearance as you seem to with headers in those pics.

thanks. i love the look with the red wires and black covers. but im concerned about some wires being close to the primary tubes and some touching the air tubes. would it be a good idea to wrap 'em with somethin? dont wanna burn up brand new MSD's.

Excellent! now I know what mine will look like whenever I get around to putting them on...I have had them for 2 years sitting on my shelf....

Did you use the 8mm wire looms on 8.5mm wires? I remember you had posted a thread about them fitting...

They seem to fit pretty good..

yeah i did the a/c delete my self. got the box from ebay and the pulley from gmpartsdirect.

and i did use the 8.5mm wires with the 8mm looms. they fit fine, just a lil tight.

only problem was the looms on the driver's side are turned around 180* from where they're supposed to be, cuz the airtube on the header was in the way.

I thought it was to match the headers.

I would say polishing would brighten it up even more.

Damn... your engine bay is clean! I am massively jealous. And the wires, nice touch. Made a clean bay even cleaner.

i was just about to comment on the drivers side. i just installed mine about a week ago. i used the taylor "universal" wire kit so that i could have all 90 degree bends and so that i could cut the wires to the exact length that i needed them. i was also concerned that it was going to cover up my logo on my valve cover, but it didnt, so im much happier than i planned on being with them.

Looks good, but with some custom hoe work for the heater valve it could look better!

Just a thought, but couldn't you bend the air tubes away from the head so that you could put them on the right way?

took my stock intake tube to home depot and matched it up with 2 90* elbows and straight pipe, 3" diameter. thought i was gonna have to buy a whole section of PVC pipe but they were able to cut just what i needed. grand total came to about 10 bucks. then just connect the 3 pieces, air filter and you're done.

i thought about it, but didnt wanna do it unless i heated 'em up first. i know with some heat they'd bend easily. should've done it while i had it at the exhaust shop when they put on my y pipes.

another reason why i should've gone with Hookers!!
