Pro Street with a 6 cyl. ?

Look through this site... Very nice car, but it seems dumb to leave the 6 cylinder in there. By looking at the pictures, I assume they will swap it out eventually.

WOW! That thing has a ton of money dumped into it! I can't imagine doing that much work and then leaving a v6 in it. If he has that much money I can't imagine not being able to drop in a v8 at the same time. He has the V6 all prettied up though. Weird.

Edit: Looks like he may be swapping it out soon, I don't know why he hasn't already though....

From the looks of the what's new section, they're apparantly having trouble deciding on the engine to go with, so it still has the 6.

Unless the guy is planning on running on hopes and dreams, that's some serious work put into that car for a V6. Even I would do some sort of V8 swap at that point.

Yeah, its a common problem with pseudo "Pro Street" cars. Its all show and no go. Hopefully he puts a nice powerplant behind that to back up the look.

His news sections shows all the engines he deciding on buying, and the picture of the V-6 has it labeled for sale.

You guys not picking up on the obvious?

Of course he is putting an 8 in!

Wow, that sure is A LOT of work to do before swapping a bigger engine in.

where the guy tells about the "power plant" he also describes it as "for sale" so yes, he is putting something bigger in.

i really like how he did the washerfluid and overflow reseviors...any ideas as to where to get those caps? i know it wouldn't be hard to fabricate the mounting...

a 2.8 hopped up to look like an 8 second car. If that isn't the worst case of domestic r!ce I've ever seen, I don't know what is. For christ sakes... even his wheel spacers are chrome plated.

The coolant and washer tank caps are especially trick.

Words can't describe how cool the braided air conditioning lines are.

The 2nd NOS bottle is a nice touch. I suppose that thing is so slow that it's concievable that he could go through an entire bottle during a 1/4 mile run.

A lot of money went into that car though presently it looks like a poser car. I'm sure with all of the work that went into it that he intends on putting a V8 in it....damn did he go overboard with the braided hoses or what!!!!

What are you guys so paranoid about? The car is obviously being set up to be a true pro-street car.

Whenever I've built a race car the last thing we did was drop in a motor.... Don't you see the obvious? :hail: :lala:
