I have an 88, black with the red emblems, decals, and pinstriping. I was curious to see pics of any other black Irocs with the red, and any other color; as I want to have mine painted (black of course!!!) and I wanted to see the options.


Also, if anyone is bored, could you photoshop one with yellow decals and pinstriping... I was thinking about that, but I don't want it to look like crap after all the work of making them.

I voted for black (Obviously), orange (like CrazyHawaiian's) and Other (Gunmetal Grey)

I voted the same three... how could you forget gunmetal???

My favorite color on a third gen is purple haze.

I think GTAs look best in Maroon!!! Camaro wise its black (with the blue stipe like MetalliCamaroRS), maroon, and white.

Its really hard to say what color looks best because there are so many good examples of different colors applied, and also bad examples.


Sometimes Black thirdgens look awesome, and other times it doesn't.

I have always been partial to Flame Red Metalic, and Maui Blue with Silver GFX

The nice thing about black is that the T-tops are the same color.

I always wondered why people don't paint the t-top strips to match the car when they get their car painted. My car's black with t-tops... I love the match.

Black and other colors are nice, but there's nothing like a stock Bright Red IROC-Z.

I'm planning on getting the 18" IROC wheels like the guy with the low rider black soft top IROC...I think they look awesome...damm thing is that noone has replied to the emails I sent the company in LA.
