Flopping paint

My paint has a flop agent in it and a few different pearl colors. I have captured a few different shades in the pics....

As you can see its darker in darker light and brighter in brighter light. I am trying to find other colors to match it for the IROC decals on the doors and a few other things I wanted to enhance with color. Any help or suggestions would be nice

don't mistake a "flop" agent for metallic.

very sharp color all the same.

my guess is that the paint is a "pearl" not a flip colour

good guess.

when you have a base metallic and add a pearl like mikes it can make the effect of color changing in slight lights. those pictures do not do that car justice.

yes, metallic will definetly give you the two shade, or flop or whatever the lingo is, effect.....

reilly8282: I had a Z28 that looked almost exactly like yours! I bought it for $650, put some nice IROC wheels on it like yours except gold, and re-sold it for $2500. I wish I would have kept it tho...it was carb'ed and a T5 stick. I want a manual trans soooo bad
