OK everyone. I wanna get a new hood, and want to hear what everyone recommends. I like the IROC turbo hood, the Jongbloed hood, the ram air and maybe the SS. What does everyone think of these?

I however think the classic cowls go good with the lines of our cars and make them look agressive but these are my three favorite hoods but I also have pics of just about every hood out there for our camaros so if you want anymore let me know and Ill email them to you so we dont tie up any more space on here.

Thanks meridius. I don't know about the cowl, it seems kind of boring to me. What is the second one? I don't recognize it. Also, nobody seems to like the IROC Turbo. is there a reason for this? It looks pretty agressive to me

I think the daytona hood looks ok on some cars but is to agressive for others. I think it looks good on the 82-84 Z28s but not so good on the IROCs. That second hoood by the way is the regular twin turbo one.

I like a nice, low cowl hood the best. My second choice would be the SS hood.
My least favorite is the twin turbo hood and the Daytona IROC Turbo hood.

Thanks guys. Everyone seems to really likes the SS hood, so I think I might end up going with the SS.

Yea I'm not basing this just on everyones opinion. That was one of the choices that I was considering and was wondering what everone thought of it I've never seen any of them in person, so I figured you guys would know best which ones look the best. We've all had situations where something looked sweet in a picture, but then once you got it, it wasn't as nice as you thought it would be. I still like the IROC turbo hood and am considernig it.

IMO the SS hood looks best on our cars. Mine is on the way!! Does anybody know if it would look right if i just had the hood painted and fenders blended?? The guy at the body shop said he uses a different type of paint then what is on my car.
