Need your opinions!!!

I am ready to get a new hood for my GTA! I have a problem making up my mind . I am going either with a ram air II or a cowl hood for clearence when I install an HSR. Tell me what you guys think! The pic of the ram air II is actually photoshoped onto my car, and the cowl is on a different car.

Well, I have the RAII hood, I love the looks of it, but that is a really nice cowl hood also. Honestly though, it dosn't matter who likes what, because everyone has different tastes and opinions, and when it comes to your car, you should just go with your initial instict and preference, cuz even if other people don't like a certian hood, others will, and if you have the one you like then you know your car looks just how YOU want it to.

I'd go with the ram air hood especially if you can make it functional.

RA II looks like @ss IMO... RA I looks best. If you go with a cowl, keep it the low one (2.5 inch or something thereabouts)... 4" is WAY too big.

I vote for cowl. I don't really care for the RAIIs, they don't seem to match Firebirds. They look like something off a Dodge truck or a minivan to me. What I think would make a Ram Air II look better would be to ditch or lessen the center line, and make the sides a bit boxier. Them things are just way too round for our nice semi-boxy thirdgens.

The contors, IMHO are too soft for the hard lines that define our cars. Don't get me wrong, RA on a 02 TA is insanely hot, but only because it matchs the body design. A well defined cowl, like the one pictured feels and looks much more natural on our cars.

However I'm a strong advocate of previously mentioned: Its your car... and everyone has and is entitled to their own opinion. However, I assumed you asked because you like both...

Suggestion: Get both hoods PSed onto your car. print them out @ the same size. set them up next to each other where they can be easily seen. go eat dinner (or something to stop thinking about it) Then walk back into the room and see which one you're drawn to first...

Good luck!
