3'' cervinia cowl and 2'' lowering springs on the way!

I got rearended yesterday

Needless to say the damage was already there but I went and got an estimate. 912$!!

Im getting 700$ cash from the driver who hit me. I fixed the bumper already with parts from a parts car. Now I have 700$ to spend

Ordered a 3'' cervini cowl hood and intrax springs I cant wait!

um i hate to say it but u shouldnt have ordered the hood with having 700 bucks, u bought the springs and now u need and adjustable panhard bar and lower control arm relocators. and then maybe while u were underthere u could do boxed lca;s . at the least u need the lca relocators and the panhard bar.

Yeah, he's got a point, but at least it'll look better... rear end might not act right, and you'll probably eventualy tear it up..
But what does the cervini hood look like? a normal cowl?

Yeah its a normal cowl hood. I have another 600$ coming to me soon as my paintball equipment sells. I may get the panhard rod and relocaters with that. Also getting a rearend to. Ill be adding a slp posi and 3.73s to the rear.

Whats the most you can lower the car without getting relocation brackets and an adjustable rod?

explain to me how he is going to tear up a rear without brackets and a panhard?

although they help the car regain its traction, they are not 'needed' the panhard should be done, and the brackets should be done, but the car is not going to fall apart without them. if you were really concered with fixing things, you would get a torque arm to, so you could correct the pinion angle, but i have yet to see people suggest that, or a bump steer kit, or any of the billet strut mounts, that have a longer travle distance.

If it won't break anything Ill go ahead and get the springs. I plan on getting the relocation brackets, panhard rod, LCA's, SFC, everything. Its part of the big picture.

Right now I want to get the car looking good. Plus its gonna get painted soon so I need the hood now.

its fine, you won't break anything, but realise your traction is going to suffer, and your rear end is going to be off center (the drivers side tire will stick out a little, and the pass side will be in)

I get terrible traction anyways...would sportlines make it do that? the drop isnt as much on the sportlines as the intrax.

I definetly want to lower it tho.
