What do you think?

A guy at work has a set of wheels and newer tires from his Monte Carlo that he replaced with after market wheels. He lent me one to see how it would look. I have a before and after pictiure-

The original wheels need lots of work But I haven't found any others that I really like that go with the car. I like the squareness of the Monte wheels, but I would most likely change the color of the insets to a darker gray or maybe body color.
Offset is different too- they stick out about 2" more.

Yeah- I got rust! The spots on the lip were spots of bubbled paint when I got the car- a little poking and the paint came off. Its just surface rust. You can see behind the wheel some patches- these holes went right into the rear seat. After taking those pictures, I sealed the seams w/ Por!5. I have one more hole in the top of the p-side rear wheel well to fix and I can put my interior in.
The car was driven year round since '84 and considering the salt used on the roads here, it held up ok. I don't plan on taking it out in the winter (or the rain until I get the weather stripping replaced!).

ya i say go for it, you have a squared off car so why not get some stock looking square type ones. now if only they came as 17 =P
