headlight covers

ok Guys, I've got a decision to make...

For my 92, should I get black headlight covers, clear headlight covers, or don't get headlight covers?

I think the black would look awsome on the car (with the heritage black stripes and such, see the pic in the sig)

I also believe it's illegal to drive with them on in PA at night time, can anyone confirm this for me? In which case is there some way I could install them that I could make it easy to take off before a night drive?

I say no headlight covers. I like the recessed headlight look on the Camaros.

My vote is for...no head light covers unless the car is completely black, which yours obviously isn't.

I was thininking of putting red ones on, getting clears and use some kind of redish spray, but the red lights at night would be no good..
It'd be easier to hide with black.
ok so since the general consensus is no hlcs then what else could I do to my car apperance wise to give it a small change in look...
If I had the $$ I'd buy a new hood, but I can't afford to get one painted and look good with the heritage stripes on it. Any ideas?

Headlight covers...those are so 80's......lol. Seriously, one of the best features of our cars are the lines on the front end when you see it head onl. Especially the black healight pockets. i'd leave it they way it is...no covers.
