...It's about time

After doing the ram air mod through the foglight holes on my camaro, and redoing the grill in black and yellow, I decided it was finally time to take some pictures of my car. So, well...here they are. I didn't take much, but you get the idea. Shows off my black trans AM interior, black hood blisters, black grill. Unfortunetly, the picture of my polished rim didn't come out looking to good, but it's all good

Well, take a look and tell me what you think.

PICTURES

Oh, yeah...The grill used to be yellow before today, but I decided I wanted it black so I sanded it down and sprayed it. There is wire mesh stuff where the foglights used to be, but the pictures don't show it too well. If you look closesly it's there. Now...If I could just get rid of the ever increasing chips in the paint, I'd be all set. Oh...and don't tell me to paint the headlight pocket's black. I like them just the way they are, thankyou. But if anyone wants to do a photoshop...I may be interested

As far as switching out the camaro dash, and putting the firebird one in, if you can turn a wrench, you can do it. All you need is the dash itself from the firebird. Everything (EVERYTHING) from the camaro fits in the firebird dash. The firebird AC vents and ducts match right up to the camaro's, everything fits. Where you are going to run into a problem, however is the wiring for the guages. I still don't have a working fuel or Speedo gauge. The wires are all there, the colors just don't match up. It's a guess and check situation.

Looks wicked tall doesn't it? In reality, it's not that tall. It's the stock height, but the frame for the boot on my center console is broken, so the boot kinda just sits on the trans tunnel, and the metal part of the shifter just sticks up. Looks like the metals too short, but it's really just that the boot is way to low.

Oops...my bad. Just looked at the pic again, and realized that it did look extremely high for some reason, then I realized that it looks high because the shift ****'s just resting on the shifter, I took that pic right after I put thje dash and center console in, before I twisted the shifknob back down. The bottom of it actually sits right below all that brown rust looking crap on it. Sorry 'bout that

The new grille is a big improvement. Here's a pic with black headlight buckets (and a bit of touch up on the paint).

Thanks for the photoshop. I'm kinda on the fence about the headlight pockets. I mean, in that pic they look great, but I've seen some pics where, IMO they look terrible. I'm just afraid I'll ruin the look of it...

I think with the black hood blisters, and the front piece being black now, black headlight buckets would be a GREAT improvement; I'm sure many would agree.

Hey, I just wanted to really thank you guys for the advice. I id some thinking today, and said f it. Went to autozone, got a can of gloss black and a can of clear and taped everything off and sanded, then sprayed it black with like 7 coats of clear. Look awesome! Really adds to the meanness of the car. Tomorrow I'm eaither gonna wet sand the clear or use rubbing compound (and advice? Really never done this before) to try to give it that mirror like shine.

Oh yeah...forgot to add...I'll have pics ASAP. Also, should I wetsand the clearcoat with 1500 grit or 2000? Or just use rubbing compound?
