overall, a good looking car. however i can't help but worry how your windows will look ... when they're broken to nab your stereo stuff. bear in mind that these are really high risk cars for theft and stereo stripping, and with two red 12's sitting right in the window you have to wonder how long it'll be. Try some darker tint, or a diff box that you can locate further down in the well - it's nice to see them thumping as you drive but u have to be careful.

The hood is ugly but mean and I like mean on a car!! It looks real aggressive. I would remove the bow tie from the rear window though and I'm not a fan of your spoiler.....

As with most cars on this board, I'm sure it's a work in progress....

If i may suggest a few things, some dark tint is ideal.....in fact it's one mod that should be done in conjunction with any stereo installation....

Next, I would continue the stripes on the back of the car......looks un-finished almost, IMO

Then maybe some rims and lowering down the road....

But the car does look pretty good, good luck with it....

some ******* just decided it would be funny to mess up someones brand new paint job and made about a 1 foot long scratch in the paint. Looks like a key mark, located right over the gas cap and moving back. and i had planned on getting some tint but its almost winter here and my car will be going into the garage soon so that'll have to wait till next year. I will most likely get the eiback pro-kit. The bow tie over the back window is actually red, looks kinda orange or faded in the pics, but its brand new shiney red and meshes well.

they were never stripes to begin with, i just thought it would look cool to have red on top of those, and if i did continue with them i think they would be too wide in the back of the car, and make it look odd. Can anyone do a PS of it to see what it would look like?

i agree with the majority of those that have posted. the car looks real nice and clean and i give you major props for that. but that hood belongs on nothing other than a 98-02 trans am. please people leave it there. overall the car looks nice except for that over done hood. EVERY car you see has that hood on it now. hell i saw a civic the other day with one.

I'd love to paint shop the strip down the rest of the car for you, complete with shading etc. I'd also do any other add ons you want pasted on there.. I do a prety profesional job.

If you can post a picture that I can add the strip to, top down, etc something i can see the stripe with. Ill do the edititing..

POst pics here, or send to sky@skyscomputers.com

im about to go to work i'll take some early tomorrow and put them on send it to you. someone made a long key scratch and theres 2 chips in the paint so maybe i'll get stripes added when i get that fixed depending on how the PS looks.

Yes the hood is functional....

When you get one mod done the first thing people want to do is bring attention to it......(ie painting a stripe, stickers, etc)....I believe the best thing to do is to make it "blend in" with the rest of the car, and make it somewhat subtle....

Overall the car looks good, the hood just insnt flying with me. Ram air is a pontiac thing, and ive only seen a few cars that that hood has looked good on. RA2s look good on black later model third gens imo, but the RA1 hood usually looks preety good. The hood really belongs ona 98-02 WS6, like said above.

Otherwise, nice car

Do you have any shots of the hood open? Underside of hood and engine?
I'm interested to see your ram air intake system from underneath.
Thanks,

I dont have the ram air box, i know Hawk sells it for about $220 with a K&N, but is it worth it to buy it? or could i gain the same from making a custom ram air setup through the fog lamp holes with 2 K&N's??

I added a bunch more pics to the site, interior, system, engine...also a pic of the underside of my hood. And for making a PS, you can take your choice of the pics on the site, theres a lot of them. but i'd really like to see someone make a PS of the stripes on there.

I like the hood. Some ****er had to key my car in 3 spots on the door down to the primer last month after I had it painted last September. More money down the drain.

It's kinda hard to paint that stripe on there without having a nice veiw to deal with.I loaded the pics into ps, and there's only bits and peic es to fill in due to the angles. I did gt the strip on one, but it's just too hard to see how it would look without a decent veiw.

Do you have any of your car where I can see the hood and roof together, or the roof, and the tail end?

My 2 cents. Not a fan of the hood but too late for that.

Ditch the red bowtie on the back glass.

Polish up thos IROC rims.. get matching center caps.

Get new front turn signals.

motor.. whew. clean it or put that 383 in asap .. ditch the red hoses at least .

That's a unique package; looks tough. It's unfortunate about the scratch, there's never justification, but it could have been worse ya know? Good luck with the project (and school).

I love it man...Seriously, Great Job. Im 18 too, so I know how it is. I just did the motor swap on mine before hood rims etc. But I painted mine first cuz I couldnt stand an ugly car. Keep up the good work man. Save up for a motor swap and then maybe some rims, You'll be good to go!
