GTS headlight covers on ebay! opinions?

Here's some headlight covers for an 85-87 camaro. They are the GTS brand. http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?...category=40933

I remember they were pretty popular a few years ago. It seems as though, now its about doing headlight conversions.

What does everybody think about headlight covers?

Headlight covers...maybe if you got gold rims and a purple paint job and possibly a crown on your dash...lol, really though, no headlight covers. If they aren;t already painted, just paint the headlight pockets black and be done with it.

If you have a black car I say sport'em!!

One of my alcohol pads used to prep the plastic was dry so one side didnt get prepped and I lost a cover at like 55 and it hit my windshield. I thought I hit a bird until I noticed the drivers side light was was brighter.

They just look so bad... so bad. They are a very, VERY dated, tacky add on - In my PERSONAL opinion.

They're OK if you have an RS (non-black pockets) or if the paint is messed up in there but other than that I'd leave them off.
